Hello, I applied for TPS registration in November 2023, and as of March 17th, my case is still pending. For those who applied for TPS in November, have you received your EAD yet?

No, as it is concurrent filing it will only show in 765. Don’t worry about it. For unvalidated photo - see above. Estimated time remaining is pretty much a joke, so don’t think about it too much to preserve your mental sanity.

I don't know if they are playing April Fools day with me but my EAD case status changed to "Card is being Produced" today. I applied for a standalone EAD on October 18, 2023 to take advantage of the 540 days auto extension that was ending on October 24 and also because my employer was asking for an updated EAD with a valid expiry date. I applied to renew my TPS on March 8th, 2024 but that is still pending.

Nice….mine still says your case is actively being looked on and taking longer than expected :(…I filed tps and ead concurrently on November 9…god I hope I get the ead before the end of automatic extension…I wanna look for a second job but this thing is holding me

Weird. My TPS case status still says Being Actively Reviewed but I went to the Documents tab of my TPS application and saw a TPS approval notice there . Applied March 8th, approved April 1st. Looks like they merged my EAD and TPS together and since its been 6 months that I applied for EAD, they approved the late filed TPS together as well. I recently contacted my congressman and also emailed WH because I was getting anxious. Maybe that helped but I suggest you reach out to them as well

Find out who your district Congressional Rep is, go to their site and there's usually a contact form you can use asking help with a federal agency, in this case USCIS. To contact the WH, go here https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ . Select Help with Federal Agency on the Message type and explain your situation.

I just contacted white house. Let’s see how effective it will be.

ShreeRaam sounds like you filed this application in locker box. It wouldnt take this long if you have applied last September. . Locker box usually takes 6 -8 months . There is no point of writing emails to the representative or WH . Another thing is you have till next year to file tps for nepal .

K bhanna khojeko Sampurna bro? Do you have any idea other than doing that? My receipt notice is Sep 19. I have already filed for re registration on October 29. I know re registration period is extended till june 2025. My travel document was filed by my attorney. How do you check if it’s locker box or not? Receipt notice came from Nebraska Service center. 

at least some good news USCIS has extended the extension from 180 to 540 days for pending work permit that includes TPS applicants.

Yikes that sucks, it is what it is….anyway can we apply for a job using the auto extension…or do employer want the physical EAD

E-verify will say you're eligible to work, but I don't think it will give the end date though. The auto-extension is only valid until the case decision is made. Just in case, if the case is denied you are not eligible to work from that day. There is no extension period, so the employers might not be really enthusiastic about hiring new people in that status. It works fine for someone who already has a job.

Got generic email from white house for my request for help with federal agency. Let's see if this gets USCIS to speed up the pending applications.

We received update that EAD card is being produced but TPS is not approved yet? Anybody have similar situation? Does that mean TPS is approved as well?
