As a member of pandit family I know there is not any Thulo Jat or Sana jat on society basically in religion or Hindu culture. But people make it through how open you are in society, how is your position in wealth, knowledge, and power on public or how was your childhood or family history.

You can see some are Thulojat in society reason of Wealth, knowledge, or power not reason of Brahamin.Such as Some Magar, Gurung and Newar.

Here I would like to ask some question to those friends,who are giving their introduction as a Sana Jat, why people listen Rich people than poor people? why one student listen Teacher? (Still 60% teacher are Brahamin), Why people killed anothere to take the power? Why those pupils whose parents are uneducated has higher chances to fail on study than whose parents are educated?This is 21st cenetury and competetion world not a Brahamin, jaisi, chitriya or chuttra (16 cenetury),who can't competete on this world they are gone be colaps like "Multi Husband System of western Nepal".Who are winner they are thulo jati and looser Sana jati. So Please think properly before rise it as a issue.

Traditionally (going back to history) so called "brahmins" were the educated and did stuff like teach ppl and therefore commanded respect. Furthermore, since they taught they made rules as they saw fit. wohalla bramins ruled.....and to this day in majority of nepal it is still true. Now discrimination does occur in nepal and very frequently...as it does in every country including developed countries as US for example. To that I say "Anytime we differential we discriminate. "

However in difference we seperate ourselves or identify ourselves...we say I am rich....what the hell does that mean...unless you mean you are richer than other ppl...so you seperated yourself from them....when you say I am a nepali...you joined an exclusive group....since nepali population is <1% of world population etc. etc...

While it is ok to be different or feel different by any classification....it is the treatment of other with all those differences that we must address. I say no group is good or bad....I say individuals are good or bad.....if you are different and you act on these difference to discriminate other then that is bad.....and again you are a bad individual...not a bad nepali...or american...or whatever the hell you think you are....

AMAZING I am really amazed about you regarding this thread. Bahun, Chettri, Newar, what does that mean anyways. I think our country is in far deeper trouble than for us to think about jat bhat ka kura. Our country already has a lot serious problem than the jat problem. Maybe you should've gone back about 50-70 yrs, then it would have made sense. 21st century and caste issues, I'm just not too sure about that.

(2) Communalism ? poor and uncivilized mentality from inherited
(3) Caste system created when manipulated other and took power
(4) Woman domination culture carried out while migrated into Nepal
(5) Child abuse carried out while migrated into Nepal
(6) Sati paratha carried out while migrated into Nepal
(7) Slavery practices in south western Nepal
