Do you believe in Astrology? Whether Astrology is science or magic. How much your horoscope describe your characteristics? Do you follow the prediction from Astrologist? What percentage is correct? Please share your experience. thanks

I think if you really take the time to read the long long characteristics that's there and then analyze to see if it really does match yours then maybe it will. I don't believe that someone can predict anything....coz you can always change anything, since nothing is pre-determined. If you believe then believe in it, if you don't then don't. If you're confused then take the time to understand it from a fresh point of view.

Well i must admit it works fine with me . When i was in Nepal I never believed in such things and used to laugh at it. Then i got here and met my friend who happens to be my best friend. She is into Taro cards and GOD you wont beleive the result. She is so exact that she can even tell when and whom YOU gonna meet, and that even with hair and eye color. There were times it scared me but now its cool. I love it. But still it is difficult for me to believe blindly in signs and astrological predictions. But then again works wonderful. I can give hundreds of example but they are bit personal. Hmmm. According to my birthdate I am Gemini, according to Nepal i am Cancer and Chinese horscope tells I am dragon.... but i wont say I am exactly the way it describes cause those are generalized. But if you let them calculate they kinda do a good job. Sites like astrology.com or fireball are pretty good. But one thing is for sure..... no matter what it tells ....YOU can completely change it.

Exactly..astrology can never go wrong. Like sex sells in the media, strippers get the most attention in the clubs, the temptation of seeing your future without even putting an effort is THE ONLY TRUTH THAT EXISTS IN WORLD TODAY!

when its right, you owe one to astrology. If it didn't predict correctly, hey astrology had warned you, so you worked according to it. DAMN! YOU OWE A BIGGER ONE TO THE STARS!

She's in some jail now giving a read to black dudes, the favourable time to get some fresh azz. tarot cards work the best if you are giving the love read. man look at those despo men and women, tell that you are gonna be in love sooon, and they're all over the tarot cards and tarot readers.

Now i am like that ABCN. Is this really the educated mass who go on every thread, and get nifty ideas, policies and work on ground realities to change the face of NEPAL. AMEN TO THAT! Maybe you can just ask, when peace will prevail in the country?

Snurp dont worry she isnt hehe....she just does as a hobby well it works and i think i am grown up enough to know how far i can go with it. Oh well sometimes it is really amazing when things work out. Thats it...no one needs to believe in it but we all still read for fun.
In the end we make our own Future.

It is difficult for me to believe blindly in signs and astrological predictions. I have almost all the characteristics of my sign. And sometimes the astrologers' predictions apply. But I still resist to run my life according to my sign. But, yes, I believe that people born under the same sign are alike, in character and even sometimes in way of life.

Well, I firmly belive that we make our own destiny. Having said that, I do not brush aside or totally throw away some divine force beyond any rational logic.

And about reading the horoscope, I do read it once in a while. Even then, I know what to believe and what not to. Anything good surely sounds more true to me. Rest I throw it where it belongs. Trash.

Here is one interesting read that is related to Arvin Sharma, a NRN in USA who was found dead by the river near the bridge.

A mere coincidence? Or one more case for astrology ? There are plently of cases like this. But more often than not, astrology fails to provide anything more precise. At best, it is vague. There are more thugs, so called astrologers, but I 'think' there are some who knows the maths of some sort which can in some way PERHAPS come with rational explanation. There has to be something. However small. Don't you guys think.

I guess it is more of a personal thing. Between our actions or stars that determines our fate. I say action.

But maybe, sometimes.. well. Maybe they just get 'lucky'.

Last summer during my visit to KTM, the astrologer predicted that I would be in a deadly car crash. That I should not drive if I could help it. Five months later, my car rolled over 3 times. I survived with a scratch.My car did not. To believe or not to believe!

He also predicted a wedding in sight. Now, I am terrified! :(

If u do believe in it, don't be too ashamed. Just accept it. Just let yr bf know before u fool him and let him marry you. For he will regret it, that's for sure!

ASTROLOGY-The study of the positions and aspects of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs.

Having faith in Astrology is like having faith in miracles in any religion. For a lotta people it does work as a driving force to achieving something. Eg if the astrologer says you will be rich dun mean PRESTO you are rich..he he you have to work for it. Or if he or she say you will be Primeminister, Dr, or lawyer or Karodpati...If you don't work for it ..it will never happen. Just like if you don't study for an exam...praying to god will not help you.

Speaking of experience with Astrology, I had a friend who was told by a very famous astrologer (blind-astrologer who lived and worked near Pashupatinath) that he would like unilt 85, he died when he was 25.

The astrological predictions and the occurrence of events are merely coincidence.

From what I read about Sitara's experience with an astrologer's predications, I wonder what was the use of his warning ( not to drive) if he was sure that Sitara would have an accident. Very often astrologers' give advice to their customers, like not to drive, not to go out of the house, or to carry out some kind of ritual to a particular god or goddess to avoid the bad happenings that they had just predicted. Doesn't following their advice contradict with their prediction?


And when an astrological predication doesn't come true, could we just regard the entire predictions/reading as false? We could if we were to use proof by contradiction.

If i have to witness of all those gentleme's dreams going down the drain, 'tsk..' I guess, I've to. A man's got to do what a man's got to do, rite?.:p. I accept the offer sweety.;).
