For over 30 years, the U.S. has been fighting the WAR ON DRUGS. Is it successful? What are the impacts of some of the policies put into place over this war? Should U.S. take another approach and if so, what would that be?

Yes, USA must take another approach to control drug and crimes.

(1) In Mexico side, USA must send undercover cops with Mexican cops. USA must involve to finance, train to Mexican police.
(2) USA open factories and business in Mexico, so Mexicans have alternative way to earn money.

(1) In Canada side, USA must do agreement with Canadian government that…If Canadian control drug, USA reduce tax and open Lumber, Livestock and other business for Canadian.


USA, Mexico and Canadian police must have direct policing service, technology, communication and access to control crimes and drug trafficking.

Canada and Mexico must created hard law and order for drugs and drugs must be totally illegal in 3 countries.

The "War on Drugs" isn't only unwinnable... it is a massive failure and waste of time, energy, money, and manpower.

I think that...

Success or failure is not big topic .....

It is important things to do are....

(1) Do you best

(2) give best effort

(3) take responsibility and accountibility

(4) give contribution

(5) make it happen like totally eliminate or at least reduce or control

What is your basis or logic behind this statement? please back it up. How many marijuana smoker have you been around with that have no manners, respect and blah blah blah. I am talking about marijuana users not the hard core drug users.

Yaa why not make them legal and put a high tax on those drugs....everyone bill benifit...govt will get massive revenues instead of spending of millions of dollars chasing drug lords..drug lords will find a peace of mind and wont have to spend millions of dollars making elaborate scams to turn drug money into legit money.

Drug users of course will be the greatest losers...why take drugs in the first place if you are not a loser.

Majority population tell Marijuana is a drug and it is not good for anything.

But Druggies tell it is good, it is cool, it is for medication, it is for blah blah blah....

Nepal ma "g" illegal garne pressure pani ta US kai ho.... u all know about the post 70's era.. their policies have not been effective here..... the thing is not about weed.... coke.... meth, crack head haru lai kasari control garne... a friend of mine told me her bf was addicited to speed... when the cop busted him.. he told the cops that he wanted to go to rehab re.. tara the cops took him to jail... how can the war on drugs be effective in this case.... ??

Law and Order create and implement like in Singapore, Malyasia, Burnei and Japan...

So ... if they caught, criminal pay death penalty.

Rehabilation will cost more and make legal system liberal. So criminal do not give a damn about law and order.

2. if you want to make a point (if there ever was one), first quote the % of smokers who are "desperate, lonely, mentally and physically sick, failure"

3. then show there is causation - if you can

I am just wondering that...

(1) First hand sigarette smoking is 100% danger for health.

(2) Second hand sigarette smoking is 90% danger for health.

Just amagine what happen if you do ...

(1) First hand Drug smoking or taking. (200% danger)???

(2) Second hand Drug smoking (190% danger)???

Definately Drug is not good.
