The following announcement from the US Consulate General in Toronto has
been made today. For more information, please contact the US Consulate
General in Toronto (contact information in the bottom of this e-mail):

Effective April 25, 2006, the US Consulate General in Toronto
instituted two new changes to the visa application process.

1. All successful visa applicants are now requested to have their
passports returned to them by mail or courier. Next day personal pick
up is NO LONGER offered. Students must bring with them either an
X-Press Post ?Regional? delivery Canada Post envelope OR a valid credit
card which will be charged for FED-EX courier services. Passports
generally are delivered within 3-5 business days.

2. All applicants over the age of 16, regardless of nationality
and gender, must now complete form DS-157 and bring it with them to the
interview.

3. Applicants whose visas are not issued will be given back their
passports and a letter explaining the reason for the refusal at the end
of the visa interview.

Bronfree, Of course, you can as long as you are not immigrant to US and not a citizen of some country like India, Singaapore, China, Russia, and some others. What you need to do is just to apply for it by submitting your info on an online application form and wait for the result.

correction: .........immigrant to US ....= ...........immigrated to US permanently (with a green card or citizenship)........

no i don't like to emmigrate to USA permenantly. USA dosen't have anything to offer me.
USA is all about material world and life is toooooo fast. There's life more than USA.
