So called tough country, how polygamy still survives in US and what is FLDS? Curious? read "Under the banner of heaven" by Jon Krakaur. I like " Bellow another sky: a mountain adventure in search of a lost father" by Rick Ridgeway. How about " In to the wild" by Jon Krakaur too?

I think I read 'The Gurkhas' around twelve years ago. :) Though I have forgotten lots of things, I still remember the bravery shown by the Gurkhas in Mandalay, Burma, in WW II. Currently, I am in the middle of reading 'A briefer history of time', but it hasn't gained momentum for a few months. :)

"The Gurkhas" is really fantastic....Haven't finished it yet (I usually lack motivation when it comes to complete a book). first few chapters are like reviewing my history lesson from elementary or junior high textbook (in english this time!) and lots of other things which i never knew before. (All the way back from prithivi narayan shah to current recruitment of Gurkha soldiers) I STRONGLY RECOMMEND it....please read it if you have time

Growing pains of Adrian Mole - Sue townsend(duh!;oP)...finished it recently and when i kinda finished it..felt kinda surreal..come to think of it..kinda had similiar sentiments when i finished the 1st book about Adrian Mole hehe..guess that happens when u read the diary of an intellectual genius?;oP hehe..hopin the other series from the Adrian Mole diaries will drop into me hand :oD..i will be keepin me hands open re kya ;o) hehe.. and oh..for a more serious read(serious?yeah right!;oP).. darn i wish me hands on these two books!!.. The Lying Ape: An Honest Guide to a World of Deception - Brian King (doesnt the title speaks for itself?;oP hehe) The Pig That Wants to Be Eaten: And Ninety Nine Other Thought Experiments - Julian Baggini (makes u think!;oP hehe) hah better spent the 1 hr left readin!enuf of distraction!!!!:@ and oh ..read sum_offs 16th day just a while ago..(well the question was about wat are readin now hoina?;oP)...only if some ppl would type a bit longer :oD... good day!:oD
