hey lovenepalalways, one of the best places if you are getting trained in ERP/SAP to work for would be Tompson West out of MN.They are global with about 10,000 work force with 6500 right out of Eagan, MN. They work with a lot of SAP, acuate reporting and stuff like that...

Hey Bond_07: Why don't you tell me the way that you get a job directly in SAP-ERP? Can you advise any company who do that? I know there are companies who hire experienced directly but not the freshers. I would really appreciate your guidance. Big 4 also hire people but they usually demand many course work in SAP while I do not have many courses in SAP though I have an introductory course taken in school. Give us guidance, buddy. AmriT

Hey Amrit! All of the Big 4 offers Adivsory services to their clients. Currently If you have even one implementation experince its easier to get into Big 4. However, even if you dont, its okay. They offer differnt type of cources that you can sign up for. However, if you work for Big 4, you dont do CODING or actual IMPLEMENTATION.. its more like process business risk. Regulatory compliancec and lot of internal audits. So depends.. you want more technical.. then co like Accenture, Cap Gemmni might be good choice however, Accenture does not do H1.. If you want to do hard core SAP, you might have better luck trying consulting co. (there are many non - desi consultancy co.) if not apply to big companies.. these days even Schools are implementing SAP .. (kinda surprising.. dont know why.. dont ask me). Well Good Luck!

Hey bond-007.... schools implementing SAP meaning.. teaching courses about SAP? Actually if your in a school that provides any form of ERP classes it's a good thing, gives you a jump start... or that's what one of the head honchos at tompson west told me when i intereviwed with them in may... means less time for them and less cost for training i suppose.

Lol... yeah they interviewed me... and i was the first choice.. well the school i graduated from had classes for siebel and now they're teaching sap or will be this comming spring... So i went and interview with tompson and they seemed really interesed... but the HR guy a week later told me they found someone more qualified... that's their side of the story... but the prof who teaches the class is related to one of my frat bro so she's like family and she used to work in thomson was told that cuz i had a month gap in my opt they would not hire me.... the joys of not being american i guess... it was a really good job with a really good starting wage >60 k right outta college... but oh well... yeah if u have someone or know of someone working there or who has connections that's the best way to get in... lol 2 of my other frat bros are in thomson west now... i am hopeing to get in once my h1b works out.

Ahh and the implementing SAP part, it's not all that bad actually... the ND state board implemented it like 3 years ago and my school was one of the "dummy site". i think they went with people soft which is now under oracle... it was bad to begin with but after oracle's take over i belive it's gotton a lot better.

If you do not have too much IT background but accounting and finance, and interested to get into SAP, please suggest me the way to get into any big companies without the help of desi consultancies. I do not have computing background but interested to get into SAP but I don't see a way to get into without the help of bhaiyas. Guys, let us hear it. AmriT

Ocenus, I've already sent you twice from the link here at Sajha. I don't know if it's an email you don't use or have you posted your email earlier on this thread? I have not seen yet. Thanks
