Does anyone have pictures of Tanahun? If you have can you post it please? I miss the beautiful scenery of Tanahun. I went home after 8 years and I was quite surprised how Damauli city had grown. Lots of new and tall houses has been built and many pitched roads. I couldn't see and recognize my house from distant like I use to. I should have taken lots of pictures I regret it now. Living in texas I can't see any hills. When I saw kaun dada It seemed so huge, I didn't feel that way before because I was use to seeing it everyday. I was so happy to see Ganesh himal shining like golden color from infront of cdo quarter.
I use to love going swimming in madi, buldi river. Anyone have pics of madi/buldi river and the bridges?
I would really appriciate if anyone would post or send the link where i can see our hometown/village pictures.

Kaun danda and particularly Manung danda are really bad for Damauli. It is Manung danda which makes like early sun set in Damauli. Otherwise, Damauli could be a nice place. I like the wider streets in rectangular grid pattern in Damauli.

YES Mr. MAKARTANTRA, I KNOW MUCH ABOUT DAMAULI TOO COZ ONCE I WAS A STUDENT OF KANKAI BOARDING SCHOOL DAMAULI. DAMAULI IS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE . THE TOWN IS QUITE PLANNED. PEOPLE ARE COOL N IS A DEVELOPING TOWN. BUT TWO THINGS THAT I HATE ABOUT DAMAULI ARE:
1. wATER IS NOT SWEET
2. CLIMATE IS REALLLY BORING: VERY HOT WITH MOSQUITOS IN SUMMER N VERY COLD WITHOUT SUN IN WINTER.
THATS IT. OTHERWISE DAMAULI IS AS BEAUTIFUL AS PARADISE BUDDY

My ancestral roots trace back to Tanahu. I am ashamed to say that my travels in Tanahu are confined to the Prithvi Highway. Bensisahar jaane baato tira gaun (and I do not know the name) cha ray, and my parents still visit there every year for some sort of pooja.
