I have actually had first hand dealing with Mr. Narayan Shrestha... and though I dont know if he is as horrible as people make him sound.. he did put me in trouble. I came to states through this program of his.. and lets just say I had a huge surprise bill after I got here. The university almost threw me out because according to them I owed them some money... and my account was supposed to be paid in full!! It was AWFUL because being a new person in a new country and all alone.... I didn't know what to do.

But I dont know how this relates to Prashant. I mean I am sure Prashant has people who can make a deal for him. I am sure he can hire professional help to make decisions.

I have personally met this guy at boulder in my uncle's house. Then he invited us for a breakfast next day.

His intension was not to respect us but to get business out of us.
Yes, he has links to so many people. I think he favors rajtantra and rajabadis. He has kings pictures all over his house walls.
all the murtis/statues - smallest to largests are in his house. I wonder how he got all of them.. probably working for gyane?? I have met so many people brought by him - most of them paid 11 lakhs and above.
with the false promise of work permit and greencard, etc. they are working in restaurants around the US without any paper. Dealing with this dude might keep you blacklisted back in nepal's US embassy and in trouble here in USA.
Definitely, Prashant should not work with this dude. He can get better person.

Narayan Shrestha is a great con artist. He dupes American state universities/colleges in providing Nepali students "in-state tuition" as an so called "exchange program". He then gets the students to pay him somewhere in between in-state and international tuition rate and pockets the difference. He brings a hundred or so students a year. If he makes just 3G per student that's $ 300,000.

He also has this institution in Nepal called SANN in Gairi-Dhara where he sends these American students and charges them outregeous fees for a few weeks in Nepal. SANN used to be affiliated with University of Denver but no longer is. That's another couple of Hundred thousand, right there.

He also has Helping Hand, NGO, run by his relatives in Nepal. The organization gets a ton of money of Americans trying to help Nepal. A small percentage of it is actually spent in providing basic healthcare and rest is siphoned off.

He hails from Shankhuwasava in far eastern Nepal. He used to work for RNAC as ticketing manager at Taplejung airport.

He is known to cheat anybody and everybody even his flesh and blood. He has helped bring over at least 50 or more of his relatives to Denver/Boulder area. He further extorted money from people who used to work in his restaurant promising them the ever elusive "green card" through sponsorship.

This man is truly evil and looks like not even the IRS or DHS or the American Embassy in Nepal has been able to make a dent in his illegal activities.

Hi, I have also heard one story about him. This is like this: He used to work as a station manager in RNAC in Sankhuwasabha (east nepal). So he was accountable for all money got by selling air tickets. Those days ,about two decades back, there was no banks or other facility to deposit money in bank regularly. So this gut accumulated those money and ran way with those money and came to USA. After coming here he became a rich person. Here how he operates his business I don't know. But one of my friend is his taaaaaaaaaaada ko relative. he was saying that NS had called all his relatives in US.....................

So final comment is this : He is alos responsible (in small amount) to ruin RNAC.......

I came to know this information from a very high profile administrator of Nepal.....
