Nepali bhasa boli kunai paap ho bhane jhai dhwasee bhandari le kani kani ungrezi ma thokecha. I have nothing against accents tara testo language nai butcher garne gari swaang parne tori haru dekhi chain wakka lagcha.

Communication has other aspects tied to it apart from the verbal part - like body language and what not! Our obsession with accent is crazy and slightly contradictory. I think being a Nepali, it's awesome to have a Nepali accent - those who give it up have lost a significant portion of their Nepaliness.

Long live Nepali accent! Be proud if you have one.

 
Professor bhandari seems to be wanna be. I felt good watching the other guy Narayan Shrestha speaking.

how come he is a prof?

to become a prof. you have to go through tenure track 6- 7 yrs and get grants, conduct research, publish tons of papers, advise UG and grads.

I don't think he is a prof.

Mr H.B Bhandari,
You are the biggest loser that I had ever seen. It is the most funniest accent that i ever heard. Well if a guy like u became ANA president, I m sure ANA will be the worst organisation in the world. Let me ask you something.
 
1. Did you teach your students the same accent like you are speaking right now in your school when you were principle? If yes, Then Mr. Bhandari, you will be accountable for that situation when americans would laugh listening accent of your students.
2. Why did you change your name to H.B. Bhandari? does it mean Hanuman Bahadur Bhandari or Hari Bahadur Bhandari? Well if you can't reveal your name completely, then you should not be a president of ANA nor the professor. Your H.B sounds like H.P.
3. You doesnt belong to my motherland- Nepal. You can't even pronounce her name well. Daam!! you sounds like you belong to Mars..
4. And what abt your finger on the table?.. Does it have spasm and move themselves?.. Is that how you present yourself being a professor in your class?... Learn smthing ..

5. Ok, tell me if someone publishes some articles in News paper does them make a journalist? .. dont make fun of journalist profession.. I  think it is more like hobby... And also if you are journalist, why are you giving clearification that you used to publish some artcles?..well you just published your articles but you weren't a journalist? dont u?
6. You can't even pronounce president in right way...

Guys give him a break. Just because he has BAD accent doesn't make him a loser! His leadership and enthusiasm may be more suited for Nepali positions not requiring too much spoken english. He should realize that by now if he's reading this thread

If anyone can figure out where in Nepal he comes from, I will give you $5.
