5 days and counting!!! Are you guys ready?
NFL Pick’em 2011 is here !!!
Please visit http://sajha.com/sajha/html/sportsprediction.cfm?yearid=9f3b41db-c516-467e-a36d-340ff0073c57 to make your predictions. Week 1 is up for picks.
This is my first year trying to set up the picks and I plan to have the picks ready to be made by Tuesday of every week. If something goes wrong, please bear with me.
Here are some interesting points to consider in my opinion.
With the offseason acquisition of Ochocinco and Hayesworth, are the Patriots superbowl bound ?
Can Rex Ryan and the Jets finally make it all the way?
Can the Ravens finally overpower the Steelers?
Are Bengals going for a 0-16 season with Andy Dalton as a starter?
Is it finally the year for the Texans to get to their first postseason?
How much trouble Colts are in if Manning does not start Week 1?
Can Chiefs repeat last year’s success or are the Chargers going to claim their division crown back?
Eagles – superbowl or bust?
Can the Cowboys or Giants get back to post season?
Are Packers bound for a repeat? Can the Bears repeat last year’s success? Or is it finally the Lion’s year?
Are Saints superbowl bound or do Falcons have some other idea? How is Cam Newton gonna perform?
Is it the year of Kevin Kob or Sam Bradford?
I personally support Minnesota Vikings and I feel they have a long season ahead. Anyways Go VIkes !!!
Keep your opinions flowing!!!
Can’t wait for the opener!!!

Peyton Manning is out indefinitely...that sucks for Colts fan...and lesson learnt "do not rely on a single player for your entire franchise's success" this is the reason why if I had a choice between picking Brady or Belichik I would pick Belichik....hoodie can lead the franchise to a winning regular season record without their star QB.

If you want to start a conspiracy theory, you can say Colts let Manning undergo surgery yesterday so that they can finish last this season and draft Andrew Luck to train him behind Manning .... brilliant planning or what? Just Kidding !!!

He He...here is my conspiracy theory against NFL superbowl winners: 9/11 2001 terrorist attack on twin towers .... same year certain some team named PATRIOTS win their first superbowl
Hurricane Katrina destroys New Orleans....same season certain some team named Saints win the superbowl

"Hurricane Katrina destroys New Orleans....same season certain some team named Saints win the superbowl"
Actually Chaurey, Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans in 2005 and Saints won superbowl in 2010. 5 years apart not the same season or year...

This season we can see the fight for last spot as 'Andrew Luck Jackpot".
Talking about the coincidences, this may be Jet's year as everybody is emotional about 10th anniversery, and depends on Sanchez if he can upgrade his passing.

ANdrew Luck is a good player but not the best one in college football. He is not yet been tried against good SEC schools like Alabama, LSU, Florida and so on. How the hell is he gonna be drafted #1? No way, I am darn sure he is not gonna win Heisman either. Keep watching there would be other Heisman names like:
Kellen Mooore (Boise State)
Weeden (Oklahoma State)
Lattimore (South Carolina)
Landry Jones (Oklahoma)
Denard Robinson (Michigan)
Taylor Martizez (Nebraska)
LaMichael James (Oregon)

Remember !!!! Bradford got drafted # 1 without playing most of games on his final season....QBs are drafted # 1 and there is no other college QB who is NFL ready than Andrew Luck....winning Heisman dont make anyone # 1 pick.

Andrew Luck is over rated....if brady a sixth rounder can be a top notch QB in the NFL, me think the teams should focus on hiring better coaches (head coach, offensive, defensive et al) to mold these young players rather than diving into QB sweep stakes. I still believe a team should never rely on one or two players for success, what a disaster it is for the colts now with that pattern.

In current style of NFL plays, QB is most important position for pass friendly league. That's the reason QBs are highly overrated and elite ones are winning the Superbowl as well. Andrew Luck didnt choose the draft this time because of competittion with Heisman winner Newton and possible season lockout. He will be No 1 no matter how he performs for Stanford.
On the Manning situation, I just read Schefter's article that there is rumour of trading Manning. oh hu!!!

Gabbar singh bro,
I thinks that is too high evaluation of Moore. He is accurate but he does not have a strong arm. Never seen him throwing a long throw yet. Plus he hardly faces a good defence. He will not be the first QB to go.
