Another good one by Niall Ferguson The Pity of War (a revisionist evaluation of the Great War, approaching it through a series of general questions. Not a narrative, it attempts to overturn a number of "myths" about the war. Very stimulating.) Hey people, while it isn't completely military history but I highly recommend (Body of Secrets) by James Bamford. It chronicles the NSA from cold war to the present. It a is a nice read about the intelligence arm that backs the military up.

How about the names of mystery, suspense, nail-biting, jaw-dropping, spell-binding fictions?? :) Something on the league of Sidney Sheldon :). (Tryin' to quit cigarette to save seven bucks to buy "Are you afraid of the Dark") haha... Noone read 'Life of Pi' yet? ;) Does reading a "manual" count? :O

''Give me few good books and some music, I wont even need a man. :D '' MatrixRose, beware. your enemies may now send you loads of books and CDs. Some people might want you to be single for your whole life. :) BTW, The last one I have finished is 'To be a Muslim' by El Hassan Bin Tallal. Post September 11 developments have made this book worth reading.
