@dissident - after we are done with the event, you can check out about our contribution to Nepal Youth Foundation. Again the proceeds from the event is going to Nepal Youth Foundation and not to ANA. Its been almost 25 years since Nepal youth foundation has been helping children of Nepal.

Thank you all  for you input.  Yes, our concept is unique  and we are facing challenges right now.  All we really want to do is help poor children in Nepal by taking the opportunity of having ANA Convention in Virginia. We could have easily started our own  non-profit to get our names out there but we figured there are so many other commendable non-profits (like NYF) working towards the same cause. We want your support and would like you guys to come out to Mitho Bhet-Ghat event  if you are are planning on attending ANA or will be around the area.  Let's have fun together and do something good for the community back home :-)

 I know lot of people already have a bad taste in their mouth when they hear the name ANA. No, we are not affiliated with ANA but we are having our event at the same venue.  Again,  I can't tell which of our team member is posting stupid comments since we all are sharing the same login.  I truly apologize for our cheap comebacks.

"Mitho Bhet-Ghat event guarantees proportionate male to female ratio and attendees will be grouped into compatible age ranges. It is extremely important that you register for the event now since Mitho Bhet-Ghat is an organized controlled event. It is also very important that if you registered for the event, that you show up. We will follow up with you 4 days prior to July 2nd and July 3rd Mitho Bhet-Ghat event to confirm your attendance so we can successfully maintain 1:1 ratio."

• People ARE entitled to turn their ideas into money-making machines. This might not be the case for Mitho Bhet Ghat but I don't see why anybody would have a problem with people making money for generating and implementing a novel idea (at least in the Nepali social arena). Butt the F out (pardon my French).
   
• As far as suggestions go (and I know how annoying it must get for you guys when people go..."oh do this and don't do that") but heck I'm going to go for it anyway, IF it's not too late, that is: teaming people up according to thier academic and/or professional accomplishments might not be a bad idea. I do see that it might be a tad impractical but if I were to attend the event, I'd certainly want to come across women who have made something of themselves or are well on their way to doing so. Grouping people by age is definitely a good idea though.
