Where do I even begin? I can't recall ever laughing this hard, this loud and this long! I've never had to analyze people's intents like this on any thread I have posted to before. My mind is still reeling from the hilarity of it all so forgive me if my reaction is not up to your expectations or if I don't address everything that has been raised.


To some it might be flattering to be the talk of the town, and there was a wicked but brief moment where I got a bit amused by some of the comments, but I must in all honesty say this has a rather silly and childish side to it. And that makes any notions of flattery vanish pretty quickly :)

As for bullying or humiliation, nah, no way! I did not perceive it one bit but thank you to those who expressed concern about it - I know that concern stems from your big-hearted natures. But come on, Sajha has made us all perfectly capable of handling such things in the event we were to be confronted by them, no? :)

Jyotika - LOL!! Let me assure you I am unworthy of such goodwill on your part. Your words were extremely flattering but thanks for letting us know your thoughts were short-lived. I wish you the very best with your next adventure, should you seek one, and I am sure there will be plenty of other, perhaps more capable, men out there who will be able to return your gestures of kindness. To the point where, forgive my cheekiness, it is all beginning to get a bit comical :P I know it is harmless and I think you mean well but for crying out loud please give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes :)

I think "Mr" Dimple must be one heck of a guy if you are this way with him too :P I am sure he must be a great guy with a great life and he wouldn't want to hang out with lesser mortals like us, but if he ever needs to blow off some steam and is looking for new company - send him our way- Sandhurst, Loote and myself like to hit the bar (albeit a virtual one) every now and then :P We'll bring him home safe and sound at the end of it all I assure you :)

I wasn't going to post on this thread and really wanted it to die, because it is damaging my credibility to post on some of the more substantive threads. However, I felt compelled to clear myself of the allegations you made because they could turn out to be even more damaging, for reasons I can't explain for decency's sake, if not addressed quickly :)

For the record, I am single but I am not here on Sajha to seek love. I come here to meet people and have fun exchanging ideas with mostly anonymous minds. As tempting as it is sometimes to become fond of someone since there are so many great people here, at the end of the day, when I go home and sleep, I sleep with a clear head and a light heart because I try to separate Sajha from my brick-and-mortar life. Of course it is always nice to talk with interesting people - men and women - but from experience I have learnt to keep all such conversations and relationships platonic. And for the most part, I have been very successful at it.

I hope that clears your doubts - and the doubts you have created in the minds of others who are good virtual acquaintances and friends of mine. And apologies for all that self-talk - I realize some of you loathe it - but there wasn't a better way, in my judgement, to address this allegation.
