I once asked my American friend who was the Prime Minister of Canada? and upon realizing he did not know the answer, he answered the most fascinating and an honest answer that you could possibly get from an American. Who care? What has he done that we need to know him? I'll be better off knowing my neighbor. I was speechless and in return could not answer him back. I asked myself, what exactly the Prime minister done? Why should I spent time and energy to know about him? He's never on the news and never does anything significant on the global scene.

you cannot compare the education system of nepal with us/uk/european educational system. the process of gaining knowledge after all depends on student but the level of facilites are way higher than any nepalese education system can provide.

WTF Sajhako Hero, I do have examples who have studied in USA and went back to nepal and doing good. One of them is my Brother and I have few others. My brother have done MBA here and now Manager in Nepal in one of the big bank and he is doing goood.

anyway, there is point in ur comments. very few foreign graduates do return nepal and have done smth great. i have met nepalese who openly says, there is nothing in nepal so why shoud i go back or even think about it? but very few have said, ask not what ur country can do for u but ask urself what u can do for ur country???

myself, on the other hand have conducted graduate researches back in nepal and have at least attempted to expose nepal and its rich biodiversity and will continue to do so no matter where i will land up!!

we should all act sensible and elect some one who truely understands the true meaning of democracy that is for the people, by the people and of the people. so far we have only seen power hungry mongrels running the country.
