Why isn't there a single good looking Nepali woman? I think us Nepalese people, especially the females, are the worst looking people in the entire world. I frequently find myself mingling with Nepali people, and never have I come across anyone who is pleasing to the eyes. Is it in the genes? I've seen plenty of South Asian women who look beautiful. They seem to have their own sense of fashion, unlike Nepali women who love to copy Britney Spears. They neither have the body nor the correct sense to pull that look of well. Also, most of the Nepali women I've met in the US don't know how to speak English well. Whats up with that? They try so hard to fake that American accent, but miserably fail. I fall on the floor laughing everytime I hear something as ridiculous as that. Aahahaha! So, what do you guys think it is that makes Nepali girls (and guys alike) so ugly when there are plenty of other South Asian nations who pump out the best looking girls.

Najar PBPD :) darshan hajur! long time no see. hope u r doing well. M.P. When I meant fosla saanjh, i didn't mean a get together. FOSLA saanjh means, Just you and JD one on one........and maybe watch something like WAKING LIFE :) I would have loved to join ILO, but after the ozzfest experience, I am thinking of joining the ISSO*. I was originally planning to come to DC, but the way things are I don't think I am coming anytime before November. But I might make it permanently in your state after December ;). _____________ ISSO: Indifferent Soberly Stoned Organization (and it rocks)

Hyallooooooooooooo! Friends! (Ro)Mans(tics)! and BeautiFOOL Peoples! As Najar said, "Some things never change!" The intrigue of the "ugly" Nepalese women and the "talencies" (wonder what that means!) of the "No dummy" women continue to dog the "misogynists and uglies" (apparently, both these conditions can co-exist simultaneously; the thread originator just confessed, in khula maanch and bhari sabha) of this world . The fact remains... the futile attempts at de-mystifying the Nepalese woman carries on...and ...on...!! Hey be our guest, knock yourselves out! and if you do happen to run out of "mirrors and braincells" (M.P. 2004), try bungy-jumping, brain/blood cells will automatically pedulum back to their original, natural place!!! :) Hiya Najar!!!!!!! kata bepatta?! Heard you were travelling and busy. Sorry, I missed you. Sanki Kalanki, Oys and M.P. ke ho? another organization! Village Voice, back again ?!!! :) As a grinning Whinnie the Pooh would say,in a rather sticky voice, "So NICE to SEE you!!!!"

Beauty is not limited to women only (nepali and non-nepali) and it is a pity that so many of us dwell on without apprecting on many things (nature, thoughts, etc).

Sometimes music speaks better than words........No words can better express my feelings than this song.....So this is for all you beautiful ladies out there........ Spoken Don't look at me Every day is so wonderful And suddenly, it's hard to breathe Now and then, I get insecure From all the fame, I'm so ashamed I am beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring me down I am beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring me down So don't you bring me down today To all your friends, you're delirious So consumed in all your doom Trying hard to fill the emptiness The piece is gone and the puzzle undone That's the way it is You are beautiful no matter what they say Words won't bring you down You are beautiful in every single way Yes, words won't bring you down Don't you bring me down today... No matter what we do (no matter what we do) No matter what they say (no matter what they say) When the sun is shining through Then the clouds won't stay And everywhere we go (everywhere we go) The sun won't always shine (sun won't always shine) But tomorrow will find a way All the other times We are beautiful no matter what they say Yes, words won't bring us down We are beautiful no matter what they say Yes, words can't bring us down Don't you bring me down today Don't you bring me down today Don't you bring me down today (Christina Aguilera)

I have this really gorgeous nepali chick who works with me. oonko gajalu akha...... Its a piece of beauty. Every feature in her face is in perfect harmony with each other. My friends think she is irresistible. Occasionally, she comes and talks to me and calls me dai....my point is she is hot and she has a boyfriend. He gets to go out with her and me like talking blah blah blah with her. Sad but true. Nepali keti haru chawak chaan tara papi chaan. Kura garne dai sangha date ma ja ne bhai sangha. hay prabhu kasto din dekhnu paryo. lamo bato janu cha sathi ho. ahhilay lai bida pauu hai.

I'm not in SUPPORT or AGAINST of Nepali Women. I just don't care. For me, personal relationship is more important than race and color. For example: I like Aliciaa, tilkumari, Meera, Moments and Rekha but at the same time I hate S*na, d****p*****, G**1. So it is very hard for me to generalize any say " I hate or love all Nepali Women" but that is just me I guess :-) P.S: WE'VE GOT TO STOP THIS BLOODY OLD NEPALI HABIT OF CALLING EACH OTHER "Dai, Didi, Bhai or Bahini". That is sooooooooooo wrong. How can you date someone once you called him/her Dai or Didi ? Guys and Gals, please start calling people with their names and KEEP OUR OPTIONS open. You never know what might happen tomorrow ? BE OPTIMISTIC and support PRO CHOICE. And no "Uncle" calling either :-)

P.S: WE'VE GOT TO STOP THIS BLOODY OLD NEPALI HABIT OF CALLING EACH OTHER "Dai, Didi, Bhai or Bahini". That is sooooooooooo wrong. How can you date someone once you called him/her Dai or Didi ? ok nattu, to be fair with you, a quote from MAHA for you " ta nai tyaso bhanchas bhane ta tero order ta hamle mannai paryo ni" :) As far as the bloody nepali habit goes, I would like to adhere to it for eternity. Not every gal you see, you see as a potential date do you? or are u still inclined to that bloody old story of mahadev dating six year old :P? then, I have no explanation for you. Now look at the positive side, if u are apt to say someone a bahini, then you are making it clear without any explanation that you are not seeing her as your partner. you make clear your objective and at the same time you maintain the relationship. I have always believed in building bridges rather than walls, so u go figure! Now as far as didis are concerned, that's a true blessing. Gals might last a few dates here and there, but didis last lifetime and beyond. :) hoina ta najar DIJJU :P?

Although working at a place where people compose almost a whole sentence in abbreviations, I am confused what PBPD and JD stand for. Oys, help! Btw, thanks for the email. I will make sure I send a reply. But, hey, good things take time, right? :) Najar didi, I have been meaning to email you. It's like one of those work-in-progress things that never gets completed. Besides, after the Bush Inc. increased the threat alert, I am kind of scared by all these policemen loaded with guns around me. I certainly can't make fun of Bush from where I work...so you will have to wait until I reach a safe place -- with no threat alert! (then I can include some Bush jokes in the emails) :) [Talking about Bush, a friend of mine was telling me, there are 3 things Bush needs: i) a haircut, ii) some skin lotion for the face, and iii) a new set of brain cells.] Btw, there is another thing that never changes: srimatilaai-kitchen-maa-basaayera-aafu-livingroom-maa-taas-khelne baani of the Nepali men! Sitara, Welcome kcab (both offline and online)! I have been setting up several organizations recently, CAS (Cockroach-killing Association of Silver Spring) being one of them. Just to make it sound a little technical -- and to suit the language of the Jargon Bank I work for -- "a twin-track approach has been formulated by CAS to eliminate cockroaches from the vicinity of silver spring." In this place, if you write "I am emailing my friend," these people will cross out that sentence and replace it with "I am enhancing my self-assessment procedure vis-a-vis peer evaluations using the environmentally sustainable technology." :) Nattu, Dude(ette), how many people do you plan to date? :) I think the best way to avoid the didi-bahini trap is to ask the person what she prefers to be called, so that even if you call her didi or bahini, she understands it's a seniority (juniority) reference than an unsolicited naataabaad at work. But to keep the relationship in confusion forever -- just because you are not sure what to call, or because you do not want to call "didi", "bahini", "dai", "bhai" -- is not good, I think. Preeti, >>>Where is this thread heading? It started with Ratnapark (quite a messy place) --> then went towards Durbar Marg and Narayanhity (quite clean, but too sophisticated; read the posts again :)) --> then went towards Lazimpat (near Nepal Scout Office, where antiquated techniques are used for survival; note: the arguments used were something like, "some men are good; some women are pretty"). We are now heading towards Ascol campus -- where there is a student gathering going on. Long lost friends are meeting each other. I can see some students trying to produce the laughing gas in the lab. Unfortunately, one of them (named M.P.) is failing miserably. He has been cursing the roaches in his apartment all day long. :) Get in the bus. Taxis (other threads) are almost on a strike. Quick! :)

M.P. I can't imagine within days of dissolving fosla, you can forget its entity (JD) that strengthened the solidarity of the organization. Some ppl can just forget and forgive so easily :P. Last time i checked in the liquor store, it was still called jack daniels....but who knows...with the abbreviation mania, we can just call it JaaaaanD!

i personally looove nepali women. they are so sensitive, compassionate and understanding. it's hard to find caucasians who are so respectful of their cultures (what culture?) and their elders and their own people. my personal fav nepali woman of the moment is neurotic_girl. she is so neurotic. i jus love that about her, you know..... god, i hope i dream of her tonight.....wish me luck...

This is indeed a reunion thread, I want to participate in this too. That's how Nepali women are; they know how they twist the topics, this is how they change their cords:P Najar Dijjuuuuuu, nice to see your name here;) Oysa bhaiiiiii, are you back to east? Fosla ko neta and board member ajhai timi nai ho:P Sitara jyu, where art thou? Shall I compare thee to a Sitara's shine? Thou art more lovely and more temperate....:P art thou or thou art:P
