We are proud to be what we are. Only it needs betterment each day.
This concept of changing the flag is seen absurd by many people.
Changing flag is not a good step toward advancement.
Because the flag is interpreted according to some logic by Hindus we don't have to alter it. Even muslims have moon in their flags. Sun belongs to all and not only for some. One can interpret the colors using one's own logic. Now the concept of up and down in space is somewhat doubtful. People believe there is no up and down if we leave earth, it is just referenced to some object.

Vedic literature is the most scholastic and scientific till now. It is our ill fate and concept that we have not spread its importance to the world. Open minded westeners have found a lot in it. Why should we neglect it?

Nothing is best in the world than one own's religion, culture, values and thoughts.
Let's think before we start thinking something different, unless it is for advancements.

I really appriciate and agree with your views but still want to improve our National Flag. Do not nessery to change but we could modify. Every country had history of flag Improvement. USA already changed 4 times her flag. Our flag should be 'Standard' for other country also. This flag is the simbol of Rana and Shah dynesty than nepali and soil. So this is the time for Modify!

So now what do you want?Do you want to be dictator and change the nepalese flag !!!just because you(some) didn't like it.I already said symbols can be interpreted how ever you like .To your satisfaction don't think it is symbol of rana or shah .Just think that it is moon and sun.We love sun and moon ok.

Yaha sabai la thaha cha, jhanda kata bata ayo. It doesn't matter who originated the flag because it remind different people of different things. As for me, it simply makes me proud. It makes my blood rush through the body.

Actually, I was seriously thinking about getting a tattoo of the flag on my shoulders. They would look pretty dam good on my big shoulders. Only a tough man like myself can hand a flag like that. Malai jindagi ma duita kura ko gaurab cha, mero jhanda ko, ani mero thulo turi ko. Aba hera ABC budha, tyo duita ma kunai pani euta hataeu vane ramro chai hune chaina.

More facts about Nepal Flag. This flag was jointly made from shah king's flag and Rana primeminister's Flag. This flags really does not represent Nepal and Nepali. we should improve, modify or change it.

The crescent moon is said to represent the royal house, while the sun represents the Rana family.
