New Trade***** ALERT:::*****
(1) Bought VTUS (small risky position)... VTUS will be releasing data of its phase 3 clinical trial in few weeks (but could come anytime--risky).

This is a risky trade holding through this kind of binary event is very risky. If phase 3 data is good my target is $5-$6
If phase 3 data fails this will plunge to $1 range....I am expecting positive data based on their previous study but you never know. Also, Shabby management bought some shares of VTUS today...All the signs pointing this will have a positive data. I am only risking some money. But i wouldn't suggest anyone who's not willing to risk -50% of money if p3 data fails.

(2) *** Bought some INS*** profitable company i believe will see some upward momentum if traders catch it...... Small position... If i see some pop i will be out though..Not holding too long..This is a low float so don't chase.

(3) I still hold *** ISR ** from my entry of $0.52 yesterday.. Might sell if i get few % gain tomorrow. I am still at profit though.

So far this month i have flipped AMBS penny stock 2 times
(a) $0.052 to $0.072                      +38% gain
(b) $0.0649 to $0.0735 (today)    + 13%

CBMX flipped it from entry of $2.23 out at $3 range     +35%

Kanchi, for first time investor, i think SPY, DIA and the Q's are good. i would just buy small amounts when market is down.. so dont rush out and buy with all your money at once.

2013 the US markets are up big, so i dont think 2014-2015 returns are going to be that great.. long term i think it should still be ok though.

also u can look at EEM. (emerging markets) and GDX (gold miners). they are quite reasonable priced.

Goatmeat, look at my above msg to kanchi...u can do the same..

the fact is most of the active money traders or so called 'professionals' under-perform S&P500.. over longer periods of time.

Bounce on down side today...was very predictable if u guys had watched the Nikkei melting last night. Close below 1766 on S&P cash prefers further downside. Heavenly markets for traders !!!!! Long term people stay out. Its not time to buy anything.

Tyranny, great call on INFN. I remember trading it around its IPO. Since then,market more than doubled and this Stock went down from 25 to low 10s. There u go the long term holders !!!

SPX recovering from the gapdown but I guess it sells off towards EOD but held that support at 1770 (still a key level to watch )

But in all seriousness, whats is your take on air line industry? DAL or LUV. They all had decent year. Southwest is starting some internarional flights though I believe they have fierce competition. Delta performed better than expected. Do you think they can repeat that?

I am glad I didnot jump on Boeing early on dip. It already dipped 9%+ on last 5 days. Speculations are due to contract lost to SAAB in Brazil with NSA revelations and few accidents. Is Boeing still good buy or will it dip further on monday?

What about ZGNX or am I too late on this? Or is there still room for upward trend.
