I am starting this thread to know where the TPS application is going and how long is it taking to get approved. If you go to USCIS processing time for nebraska, first of all , TPS is not even in the list (i-821) and second of all the dates are so out of date and updated every 1.5 months or 2. So just creating this thread to get a live tracking based upon others application and approval date. Hope others will help.

My case:
Application received: Dec 11 2015 (TPS only)
Bio metrics date: Jan 12 2016
TPS: Not yet approved

Anybody recently applied for AP document ? Any idea how long it's taking to get approved ?

TPS approved: March 23 , 2016
EAD approved: March 23, 2016

I did not call or had my case escalated.

Source: In order to understand the extension, you need to understand why DHS created TPS in first place. It was created to temporarily relieve people from deportation if there is imminent and ongoing crisis in their home country. If they were forced to return, they would be miserable, some even may lose their life. To overcome from the earthquake crisis for poor country with limited resources like Nepal, it will take 10 plus years. You figure the rest.
Also, revenue is generated from EADs every 15 months, so DHS is like why not???

KP dai, first of all, congratulations. Did you use the same old LIN numbers (one for TPS and another one for TPS EAD) in order to check your status on the USCIS website? How did you find out your TPS was approved?

@sarey i have two LIN numbers for TPS and ead. i had setup and email/txt notification with uscis about any updates on my case. i received a txt and email today about the updates which were a good news.
i hope you all have been approved.

@kpdai - congratualations ..what did you put in country of residence and in q16 of I 765? Nepal or USA and c19 or c12

@edipre i put country of residence as USA and c19 in the form....

Applied: November 28
Biometrics: December 28
TPS: Not Received
EAD: Not Received

@ KPdai - Thanks. One last question - did you send 2 PP also? Per I 765 instruction, applicants are required to send but looks they collect this during biometric. I am just trying to guess what is causing delay for some applicants. Some have filed in august and haven't received anything from USCIS.

@edipre if 2 PP means Passport Photo then no i did not send any pictures. The picture was taken during bio metrics.

based on last 2 approvals..looks like they are working on nover 17-18 application ..any one else got approved?....may be they were sent to different service center than NSC

I had applied for both TPS and EAD simultaneously. EAD aako over 4 months bhai sakyo. TPS approval bhaneko chaina.

hoina kaile approve huncha yo...july 20th mai gareko mero asti approved vayo...sathiko still pending cha.

I have emailed and called them many times .. uscis said that my case is in line to be reviewed by an officer .. please allow us some more time ..
