Welcome to Nepali NFL 2006, the Playoff match between the players who competed in the regular season (under Are you ready for some football thread) and managed to be one of the TOP 14 Teams!!!

This is the Playoff and 14 top teams qualify (names and Tie sheet to come soon)

Rules
1. Each player should predict winner and loser and also the final points.
2. The player who correctly predicts the winner wins the matchup. If both players predict same winner, final points will be compared.
3. Differential* will be used to find out whose prediction was closest, point wise. Player with lowest differential wins the match-up.
4. If both winner/loser and points are tied then the player who had predicted first will win the matchup.


*Differntial = |(predicted winning points-actual winning points)| + |(predicted losing points - actual losing points)| .

I wasn't so much disappointed with the Broncos as I was with Panthers. Panthers didn't show up. Seahawks basically shut down Smith when it counted. Delhomme played like he didn't deserve all those QB ratings in the regular season. Carolina changed their regular game and limited the vertical passes, tried to resume it when it didn't work and still came up short. Seahawks and Steelers both deserved the win, although I picked none.

How many times do you see 14 predictors trying to predict just 2 games and none of them getting both right. Not a single player predicted Seattle and Pittsburg both as the winner..amazing!!!

Hangu_lama has to be champion of the champions in NEPALI_NFL league. He pretty much dominated the regular season (trailed only in percentage to me) and has cruised through the divisional playoffs. He is the sole leader this week as well.

Considering the fact that we just had two predictions to make, it was indeed interesting to see none of the sajhaities getting 100%. Anyways, I am tilting towards Hawks for now.

Superbowl.. i would really really love to see the seahawks win, just because i live here in seattle. but after watching the Broncos game, i think it is going to be Steelers 34-24. If you can penetrate Denver's secondary and Blitzes, you can beat seattle's defense.

Well, as seen from my previous picks, I am quite lousy at predicting the winners, let alone the scores. Of the four teams who played last weekend, three were the ones whom I had NOT picked. So, you can see how bad I am at this prognosticating game. But my one pick from the beginning, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS has made it to the SuperBowl, so I will be rooting for them at Detroit.
