Kia took the passenger from point A to B, where as Ferrari stayed in the garage for overhaul.

From Jay Leno show last night:
1. The Celtics rolled smoothly on the streets of Boston with the Lakers defenders still standing.
2. Lost Angeles Lakers

Your messages defy logic.... the kia sure went from point a to point b.... from 20 games per seasons to 60+ with KG... so, its credit needs to go to the driver... not the crappy car...

OK sleepyspur..
Celtics are crappy car and Lakers are Ferrari. Happy now ?
But remember..the crappy car delivered.
The Kia might give better gas milage during these days.
For the crappy car to get from Point A to Point B, lots of people made lots of sacrifices.
The Ferrari may be the best car in the planet, however is not a clutch player.
I would prefer a lemon if it delivers than have just the face value.

Sirish,
Somehow, I knew a new post was going to be added to this thread.
Shaq is an idiot. I really really think that Kobe was as valuable as Shaq to their 3-peat.
Regardless, what are your thoughts on the Olympics? I have a feeling that the US is going to sweep through the competition. All these people that are saying that the European teams are closing the gap have no idea what they are talking about. The only reason the US has been doing as bad as they have in the past is because they have been selecting the wrong players and not taking this seriously. I am excited to watch Melo go crazy on offense and the Black Mamba lock these fools down on defense.

Who's looking better now? Shaq is proving every Kobe Haters wrong......I love it....It was Shaq's arrogance that got him out of LA....Great job Shaq aka Play-4-Da-Contract O'Neil !
On the Olympics, this is probably the best team USA has put forward since the DREAM TEAM.....and with the Killer Instinct of Black Mamba, anything less than Gold would be a disappointment...., Over-Ambition...I don't think so....Its about time NBA prove to the world that they infact have the best players.....

If you do not want to add on posts, I will stop.
Was not the purpose of Kurakani to discuss ?
Any way, the Olympics got another reason to be excited about by the presence of Kobe, the best basketball player on earth. Nobody can deny that. The new batch of players definitely look like another dream team. Time will tell.
Regarding Shaq, I thought, he was expressing his complexion and Kobe will just shrug it off !!

This Shirish dude needs to let go of this thread...He's done a 180 degree divergence from what was originally started on this thread. Hell, start a different thread if you wanna put up pics of the Spurs/Celts game, etc. I don't even see how the pics were related to the jist of this thread!! Hey Shirish, OK, the Celts won! Happy now? Go frolick along the daffodils, all ya girlie beaners. Hope your supari sized ego has now been gratified enough that you start posting posts which pertain to the thread topic.
Sleepyspur, Say whatever these Kobe haterz may, the Black Mamba will prove all his haterz wrong this Olympics for sure. There is not a shade of doubt that this cat is as equally as good as Jordan (sans the supporting cast). Jordan was futile in all his playoff quests until his 8th NBA season (when he finally had a Bat-Man in his team: Pippen). Wasn't too long before this Superman added Rodman too during his 2nd 3peat too. C'mon, give Kobe a free agent this summer ala a "healthy" Ben Wallace and see how the Lakerz terrorize the NBA playoffs in 2009!! And yeah, the Zen master needs to be sent packing as he's diverted from his ways when he was with the Bulls. This cat was way more aggressive then, never ever shaved during the playoff (his trademark) and smilingly played 4th fiddle to Superman, Batman and Rodman. But in today's NBA, he hogs the same limelight as the Black Mamba? WTF? Either he mends his ways and stick to startegizing his game that killed opponents (the triangle offense) and SHOWCASING his emotions making his players all hyped/pumped up (like he used to when with the Bulls...The whole Zen thing has corrupted this cat) OR he needs to replaced.

Shaq takes a freestyle swipe at Kobe Just in case anybody had forgotten that Kobe Bryant has never won an NBA title without Shaquille O'Neal, the big man sent out a reminder. The Phoenix Suns center can be seen rapping that "Kobe couldn't do without me" in a video posted online at celebrity news and gossip site TMZ.com During the two-minute video, a grinning O'Neal lurches through an improvised rap in which he skewers the Lakers' star, with whom he won three straight NBA titles from 2000-2002 while with Los Angeles. "I was freestyling. That's all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever," O'Neal told ESPN.com Monday. "That is what MC's do. They freestyle when called upon. I'm totally cool with Kobe. No issue at all." O'Neal and Bryant last played together in 2004. After a long-simmering feud came to a boil in public, O'Neal was traded to Miami before the 2004-05 season, and won an NBA championship with the Heat in 2006. Bryant and the Lakers didn't reach the finals again until earlier this month, when the Boston Celtics beat them 4-2. "You know how I be," Shaq rapped. "Last week Kobe couldn't do without me." O'Neal, who has recorded seven albums, also said he is "the difference between first and last place" and even took a jab at former New York Knicks center Patrick Ewing's lack of championship rings. Bathroom Coffee seems to follow Samsara wherever he posts. Awww, thats so cute..
Samsara, give this Sirish guy a break. I must admit, he is very objective... he even admitted to being a celtic bandwagon fan... and has paid due homage to the Black Mamba... and those pictures were from the game he went to see in the Boston Garden I think...
About the MJ comparisons, although I would like to believe that Kobe is or will be better, its hard to say. The other day, I was looking at some old games... and MJ dominated defensively like Ben Wallace in his prime... that really stuck out... offensively, Kobe is almost there, he is not quite the passer, but I think he can shoot better long range... but defensively, Kobe is at that level, but not all 48 minutes like MJ was... just in spurts.. which is still very impressive... but to do it more consistently is something else...
Samsara, about the ANA, how come they got so many teams from DC area... I mean, they can call them whatever names, but essentially they are from the same area... I dont know how they are going to manage a tournament with all these teams... Who do you think is going to win the MVP this year? I know the guys from NY are amazign, I would probably think one of them would win... or the DC players are all really good too... tehy are always perennial mvp candidates...

BC, when did Kobe rape? I guess the charge was dropped, that girl who accused had three different sperm samples at the same time, that shows if she was rape or not. She was clearly a hooker.

hahaha BathroomCoffee, the supari-faced butt-muncher is back to face the wrath of his dad again. This foolio calls Kobe a Rapist? WTF? The courts have exonerated him, dumazz! Fugcka talks as though the cat was convicted! hahahha What an oxymoron: ToiletCoffee talks about the NBA!! Get a life, midget...Go play carrom-board or ludo instead!!
And he thinks MJ was clean cut? I hate it when peeps with so lil understanding about the NBA come up here to test my knowledge. You have no clue about what Mike went through that got his dad murdered, do you? As per MJ's teammates, he was an addicted gambler going on a spiraling path downward and it has been alleged that it was the mob who took his dad down for some losses he had yet to pay up. Comissioner Stern had to cover up a lot for the guy back then who was the NBA's face (the only superstar) and had to put MJ on probation and have him mend his ways or risk losing it all...And MJ had his share of infidelities too. Man, I hate when peeps call the kettle black before even knowing whazz up!!
Sleepy, MJ's defense was prolly the best the league will ever see, but in offense, after seeing Kobe torch up 83 last year and 67 in 3 quarters, I don't think even Wilt could've done better. The standard of today's game is much more than when MJ scored 63 at the Garden in '86 or when Wilt scored his 100 in'62. You have to uunderstand that Wilt scored at will back then as he was among the lonely three/four 7 footers the league had and defense was a terminology that was non-existant back then. In contrast, IMO when Kobe has his days. his offensive skill remains unmatched in league history.
And for the ANA, DCAC is the only team from DC that would be a true threat...Al the other DC teams are still pozay who have yet to prove themselves. Looks like DH may be facing some stiff competition from the MMC boys of NY ths year. All I'm hoping for is that the luck of the draw puts DH and MMC in different pools so the showdown in the Finals between them would be worth it for the fans and spectators.

ToiletCoffee, OJ bought out of murder? He proved "beyond a reasonable doubt" to the jury and judge that he couldn't have done the crime, so he won fair and square, damnit...The glove did not fit!! As per Cochran's words then, "If the glove don't fit, then acquit." Now acquit Kobe for all charges outta your dumb brain, would ya!!
And as per Kobe, that 3.7 million dollar ring Kobe bought was to apologize for his infidelity, damn jackazz.

No one is denying the Kobe had consensual sex.....He bought the ring coz he had to come home to his wife.......nothing wrong with that....Rape cs. Consensual Sex...a HUGE difference... Unlike OJ...it was a murder charge....and this Dumbo OJ almost sold a book telling the story of how he did it......
