Was there until the 'Naya Shikcha Lagooed' and fled to India.... Chitralekha Yadav, a minister from the former administration in Nepal, was a classmate. Don't remeber many others as it was a loooooooooooooooong time ago. Remember her well becuase she was a fierce competitor in the class - against me - and met her once, long time after I left MAV, at a movie theater in Janakpur. (you think she's a Sajhaite also?)

I remember MAV being in Thapathali ko puraano Darbar maa and the headmiss was there when it moved to Satdobato. Hey storm93, I live in the place called NepTexVille that is in between Nepal and Texas. If you think of Nepal, it is little chill, if you think of Texas, it is hot. So, it depends what your mental state is. Yes, FYI our MAV used to be in Thapathali's old Rana palace and I knew it but never went there. I went to MAV quite a few years after it moved to Satdobato. I heard our school was rockin' when it was in Thapathali. Some of my friends went there in Thapathali but not me. Are you MAV alumni too? Good to know you man. Take care. Uh! by the way, where are you? Hope you are not in Neptexville too!

First to sherpauno - I don't know who Fiju dai is. Again, as I said earlier, it was a long time ago when I left MAV - after fourth grade and right before 'all Nepali' courses of Naya Shiksha was instituted in the schools throughout Nepal. (You can do the math and figure out how long ago that was...Jeez, even I can't believe it's been that long.)

Neptex - Headmistress' name fails me but that could be because we all called her 'Tutulki Budi'. Of course, not to her face.

Take my salute too. Carry on and open the golden old memories that you spent in MAV. I know Biken, Suren, Kiran and everybody from Satdobato coz' I am from Satdobato too. Once Chitra Lekha yadav was our main guest in MAV Alumni Associaton's programme. Somebody told me that Shiva Shrestha studied in MAV too. Carry on folks

When ssNY talked about his ole time, it was before 2036 B.S. पुरानो शिक्षा was impleted aroud 2036 BS. I was in fifth grade then. Fiju dai studied in Satdobato so he must not know him.
