One of my cousin is trying to apply for F1 visa for the fall of 2015. His sat score is 1140, so which university should I suggest him? I was hoping for schools that would cost less than 3,000 per semester. Your suggestion will help me make a better decision.

delta state university seems to be the cheapest.

Look around schools in Minnesota, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Many schools offer instate tuition for international students in these states. Minnesota and Texas has huge Nepali student population. You might wanna check that out.

If u want guaranteed visa apply for Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Princeton, Stanford.

Apply to places like Alaska, Hawaii, Wyoming, Montana etc where there are very few Nepalese. Too many Nepalese is a headache, competition for on campus jobs, khutta tanne tie ho.
