Go for TPS..18 months and the maximum possibility of extension. This will also let you travel if you meet the requirements. Possibly, go see family that wouldn't be possible with F1 EAD unless you find very kind (rare though) employer to sponsor H1b.

In TPS you don't have to fear of layoffs/unemployed days/job matching your own field etc. and reputation of TPS is pretty good it will be renewed atleast 4-5 times which is 6-8 years. Only draw back of TPS is travelling back to Nepal, Port of entry guys might not share same enthusiasm as you to travelling back to country from which you have received TPS.
