I know this question might have been answered quite a bit, but I just received my i821 approval notice with the following information on it:

"While you are under Temporary Protected Status, you:
(3) will be considered as being in, and maintaining, lawful status as a nonimigrant for purposes of adjustment of status under section 245 of the Act and for change of status under section 248 of the Act;..."

Now, my Extended OPT expires in November 2015 and my Labor certification for GC is in progress. Do I still have to go to school and maintain my F1 status or can my status be changed from TPS?

toitjindagi_ Just wondering what are you planning on doing? I am on same the boat. My Eb2 is just getting started and my extended opt is valid till May 31, 2016. I am also thinking of not going back to school after opt expiration and will like to hear from your personal experience.
