It will take little long since there are many petition for I-140.

I applied on August 19th 2015 and I got approved on Jan 13th 2016. My case got transferred to 2 different location and finally got approval letter.

4 months is the average of processing time of the recent applications. Some get it in 2 months while some might take 6-8 months or more.

Sathi haru , Don't see any progress on my case. It is in 'application received' status since Sep 22 ( 4 months 2 weeks).Would it be appropriate to call USCIS? If so ,should this be initiated by me or Employer/Lawyer

Thanks
