Hi folks,

I am planning to work as an independent contractor on corp-to-corp with another company. I registered a single owner LLC company. What things should I keep in mind while working on corp-to-corp ? (Tips on hiring tax accountant, insuring company, signing contracts etc would be helpful)...

Single member LLC is treated as disregarded entity if you haven't done check the box election (form 8832), which is as good as working in 1099. I would suggest you working in W2 which will get you all those fringe benefits plus one half of the FICA. But if you do check the box with S Corp election (2553), you will save some money in taxes.

Hey nayapidi,

You seem to be a professional. If everything goes right, I am interested to hire you to set up my payroll , give me suggestion on contractual bindings, generate pay stub etc. Would you be interested ? If yes, then inbox me your email.

Thanks !

Atiranjeet, I am interested in any opportunity. Let me know when you make your decision.

Snow 2017: LLC or S Corp doesn't make much difference. But if you are a single member LLC without electing to corporate for federal tax purposes you will be subject to self employment taxes. And again, yeah you will loose perks of insurance and one half of FICA. I don't know about background checks.
