What do you mean by dispora? Is it diaspora that you inquire? Any how the two links made me infer deductively that matters in diaspora are lovers of great talkfest and implementation wise comes to nothing. They like to bullshit and brag to show off their narcissicm through propaganda. I wish they were like the Askanaz or Sifaradin Jews having obssession to return for a homeland based on the notionof Zion. What do these NEPES have apart from moving from one country to the next based on better economic refuge in the globe. What do you think?i

The issue raised by GP about the Diaspora: First of all, the Diaspora's appeal was initiated by the ANA and NAC who represent many organizations and individuals. It was not an individual project. Mr. Gautam presented a paper in Kathmandu, and the Diaspora discussed the issue and they requested Dr. Bohara to draft the petition. They also had, I heard, a lot of discussion. The petition takes a neutral approach emphasizing on peace and development, and also a negotiated settlement. When the country is burning and people are getting killed, any effort from any quarter should be appreciated. Yes, the finality of the petition should be put forward, but such a personal attack is very unfortunate. It is also not very difficult to contact ANA/NAC or even Mr. Gautam and Dr. Bohara or a number of others who seem to have involved (Mr. Girijaa Gautam and President of ANA Mr. Niraula and the president of NAC Mr. Adhicari and so on.) and communicate with them to find out more about the status of the petition.

The opportunists say they took the neutral path for everything for the best and national interest. They term themselves Nepe Non-Residents to contribute for the glory of the failed State of the AAMA. Well if you are a real Saput then Why do you beg a poor AAMA more tax incentives to invest in her, when in fact she has nothing to give you. Why do you beg from your poor AAMA many many things that now you are an economic refugee and you want more. That is a stupid and illogical rhetoric of a neo cottage industry. JFK lamened wiesely "Ask what you can for your country, and don't ask what the country can do for you". I feel very saddened by the so called NRN Netas taking middle path for the AAMA and demanding CHI CHI PANI PAPA PANI from the both sides of the cake. They want only take take take and fail to give give and give for AAMA. What do you say BRO?

The correct JFK quote is "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." About Chichi Pani Papa pani: it's all in the eyes of the beholders. If you were to send your email fom the remote village of AAMA, and if you were breaking your back on the slopes of the the AAMA'a lands, then my hats off to you. Else, you are blowing a hypocritical tune, BRO.

Bro, I pay double tax. One fpr Oz at the rate of 48 cnts to the dollar (top rate) and about 20 paisa to one rupiah being away from Nepal. am proud to contribute to AAMA based on double taxation. As you know AAMA and Oz have no tax treaty for amortization in theory and practice. Thus, Bro I practice what JFK lamented "Ask what you can do for your country and not waht the country for you". As for blwing the horn. Are you a Jamuman Shaal Singh that exists in the myth realted faltu hypocrist? What do you say?

Many Nepali bros have been doing much more than paying taxes from their comfy jobs and business. Not a big deal bro. They give to charity in Nepal, provide scholarships, send money to their families. ... Still, unless you duke it out on the slopes of the country, your horn will still be empty. You still did not get the JFK quote right, bro. Keep blowing your horn fella, and if the horn sounds good to you then keep blowing it. But, you are still a big hypocrat. Bro!

The bottomline is I pay tax on PAYE basis and you do not. Coz you have never ever worked in your life be it in Nepal or otherwise. SMART way to help AAMA need not do stupidly like BIKAS KO MUL PHUTAU or KHHEYAU HAATKA DUS NANGRA ala BIRENDRABANI. I am doing what I can and what are you doing per your own ideology.Ar you doing "Ho ho male ho ho chanjo kura ma ho ho tare ho ho". Lau kaan de Kaan ko kura ma bro you are a neo con man for Nepalese to raise donation. In fact, when you talk along these lines, I immediately know the raised paise will go into your deep pocker for bhutle saag and narsingh twaak. Thus bro I sseeeeee no need to talk bull crap with you any more. I beg to agree to disagree with you. Namaskar bro and I will not be thagoed by silly dills like you. I do to AAMA what I can in doing hoste ma hainse my own way and not your way. Namaskar.

You sad soul do not know what I do, and I do not know (or care) what you do. So, let's stop right here, Bro. And, don't be judgemental about other people if you don't know about them. We all pay taxes, and that's no freaking big deal. Some even do a lot more, and they do not need your approval. If you do not like what they do, then be a man and write to them and ask for a clarification. Don't hide behind the cloak of anonimity. Else, get off your high horse, bro.

JTara ji, Thanks for your concerns. Sachhi kai suteko manche lai ghachghachyayo bhane utchha re, tara pretending to be slept lai uthauna sakidaina re. Pretending to be slept lai chai, you have to either make him laugh --kakukuti-- or make him badly angry, so that he wake ups. Well, regarding the intelligensia --diaspora (chhitra bichhitra bhayeka) of Nepalis (I am not talking about the D.O.N.For Peace) and their support to Maoists, I can understand why are they supporting Maoists? Frustration in this birano land, frustration with the corruption in Nepal, frustration of insecurity while interests lie on returning to Nepal, being second class citizen in others country, ................ made them HIJACKED by Maoist agenda, especially, under the leadership of so called never second man, the ... It is easy to support Maoists here in USA, because you neither have to fight with RNA nor you have to donate money to Maoists. You can get free membership of being Maoists, and later if Maoist succeed to control Kathmandu stationed Nepal govt., then, they can print those documents and submit as proof to Maoist leadership for political appointments. Not all will get the appointments, you will not need a long time, to see them fliping on the other side and start wrting against Maoists. This is my feeling. Unfortunately, these poor fellows don't have options too, because the other side is run by corrupts like Girija and Associates, Deoba was sitting beside a Wagle making his mother-in-law as a minister using tricks, Makune's Bharat Mohan Adhikari whose case is probably in pending at CIAA is Finance Minister. Under these circumstances, what can a person without clear foresight stand without sidelining? They need supports, and Maoist agenda are support to them. Let it be. Never mind, I am not going to flip flop. I don't have capacity to wake them up. As time comes they will wake up: time does not matter to them, after all they like flip flop and their positions don't have remarkable contributions to Nepal. GP

I thought the way double taxation worked was you pay the difference. For example, if you are citizen of country X where tax rate is 10% but you live and work in country Y where tax rate is 2%. Then you would have to pay the tax difference 8% in Country X. But if taxation in country Y is already 12% which is above 10%, all you have to do is pay 12% in Country Y but nothing in Country X. Your payment of paying 20% tax in Nepal only makes sense if tax rate in Nepal was 68% as you would have paid 48% in Australia already.... Your claim seems to lack credibility...
