What makes you think that i would want to be part of an organization which has no transperency ? If my tiny voice cannot be heard here what makes you think that it would be heard on the executive board ?
Who has time rey ? If you don't have time then don't join the executive board...YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Nobody is forcing you to join the exec. board(unlike you trying to force me). I DO NOT WANT TO BE PART OF A HALF ASSED ORGANIZATION whose board of directors only want a puppet to dance to their tune. NO THANKS !
If you don't have suplimental interest to explain then whty are you there ? TO FILL YOUR RESUME` ? he he !!! that says a lot about people who are running the organization. THAT YOU ARE NOT THERE FOR THE COMMUNITY BUT FOR YOURSELVES.

There are several of types of bones and true for organization like GBNC too.

1. Jaw Bone: members who talk and criticize only.
2. Spinal Bone: who literally take the load.
3. Supporting bone: those who help
4. Knucle bone: that throws punches

You know which bone you are.

Its really easy to criticize and difficult to thank for the work they have put into.

Was it necessary for them to do the things they did? What ever they did had intentions for the benefit of the members.

And on top of every thing, people like you discourage them and others from doing the work.

OK lets not discuss for the past for it will take us nowhere.

BUT, can you suggest and ACT responsibly so that GBNC gets better in the future.

I dont think there is any ghumaouro kura. Its straight forward.

there is no one who would dare to thank or compliment any organizers as if they have inheritated the responsibility. Thats fine, they Volunteered without seeking any compliments from any one.

My point is: probably one of the easiest thing to do in life is criticize. Fine GBNC is not a transparent organization, who said so? What is not transparent? What did you do to make it transparent?

If, Damodar is genuinely concerned with the organization, he should have stepped in and make necessary changes. He had every chances and he would not do. and now you kind of support him too.

I admit, there might have been flaws what the team did. No one is perfect and they were not running any .INC. Thats perfectly fine. They are willing to share the experiences with the new comittee so the difficulties and problems can be tackled well.
At least Prassana dared to do what he did ! What did that Damodar did?

And when asked about some positive suggestions he can't even make one.

If Damodar was looking for more activities genuinely than trying to make fun then he should have at least looked at the PAST EVENTS of this site.

Can a GBNC member have an opinion ? Or you're going to shoot me down everytime I open my mouth. Why Should I thank the Exec. comittee ? I pay to goto every event. I am not getting anything free. What I am talking about is the gradual degradation of the organization. The community is getting bigger and bigger but they(GBNC) have done noting to help our community. Throwing a picnic and a party is not my idea of our social organization.

I have paid my dues. You cannot bring back Bill Clinton as president even if you want to. My time now is to be a spectator and pass coments(can we have an opinion ?). All the events that this idiot is talking about is what was started waaay back. What has GBNC done recently thats new and fresh ? Same old same old. Do they even think about how to mobilize our community ? How to make our lives better. (being a contributing financial, personal member for part 5-6 yrs)ASK NOT WHAT I HAVE DONE FOR GBNC, ASK WHAT GBNC HAS DONE FOR ME ? ZERO. I rest my case.

May be you did not set up a good tradition when you were in the executive and the subsequent commitees inheritated the regression.

Here is the point that I have been trying to tell you. GBNC is not they! GBNC is you, me he. she and collective "we". Your conception has been wrong even though you have become the member of executive committe. Now I can understand where the GBNC went wrong. You distinguished your self as the GBNC by being executive committe and alienated the rest of the growing population. I repeat again GBNC is not the executive committe, it constitutes of all the Nepalese around Boston area. You need to understand that the excutive committe only represents them. GBNC does not equate to the executive committe. If the executive committe fails to deliver means you, me and we collectively fail.

I can not argue with this self centered attitude. Again, GBNC is composed of YOU, ME and collectively WE. It is not owned by anyone. Its inability to give you something means its your failure, my failure and ultimately our's failure.

And your perception of equating GBNC with its executive committe is DEAD WRONG as I have explained you before.

There was also interview of Anuradha Koirala from Maiti Nepal. Instead of fighting with each other , why do not these orgns raise funds or do some programs to help orgns like Maiti Nepal.
