True, some politicians made big bangolas abused national wealth when in power. But their accumulation of property is less than that of King. I heard that King never pays electricity bills of his business which is in billions of rupees and electricity authority imposes heavy rate on people. Last year's medical expense of king's daughter was far more than the baby delivery compensation members of parliment accumulated several years ago. We never know how much money does government allocate for personal expenses of members of Royal family, neither we know their actual property. After the death of king Birendra, a voice to publicize Birendera's property was echoed, but you know what G said: "King's property is people's property. there is no need to make them public" and after couple of months later he gave a lump sum of 10 lakh to government to give to Maobadi pidit. This king is cleaver. I want his royal commision on corruption should nationalize the property related to late King Birendra.

Dont worry G will did you see all his latest agenda to move the country forward.............
he is taking good steps hope not take a bad ones like netas..............

For all you talk about corrupt neta's you forget about the most corrupt of all, the big G.

First he abolished the system of each royal family havingg thier own budget, and made it into one big royal fund. What people do not realize is that he did not reduce the overall budget, even though half the members of the royal family had been killed. So he already increaseed the amount of money that he recieves.

Second he has used government money to buy some nice play things, like some luxary cars.

And he has doubled the royal budget again. So in terms of making money G beats out even the most corrupt of politicians.

And if you think G is the answer to our countries proble, answer me a few questions. Why does he need 3 years, when he called the PM incompetent after a few months. How is he protecting democracy by banning freedom of speech and civil rights? Now that he can investigate other peoples corruption, who is investigating him? And about every one in Nepal being happy to have the king in charge-you would say you were happy to if that is what you needed to do to stay out of jail.

i agree king has lot of wealth but atleast he is trying to do somet hing for the people and the country. atleast he is taking a step to take care of maobadi.....
three year is not to long to fix every admistration in the country dud....you will know if you go to nepal.....
just try to go get nagrita for your self...................................you will then find out
how bad it has gotten......................for your rights you have to brive people

So doubling his budget is something for the country? So is taking thier civil rights, that was a burden to them. Maybe if you were in Nepal more often you could have seen the chaos caused by a week long celebration of Paras's birthday last month. I am sure the citizens were helped by the money wasted on that and the traffic jams/business closures it caused. And if three years is not a long time, why didn't the politicians get that much time. Since G was so busy juggling PM's around no one even got a year.
