to tell you the truth..the cheapest would be to book a flight from here to dehli which is like 950 both ways then buy a ticket in delhi to kathmandu ..that will be real cheap..if you know someone who works for Royal Nepal Airlines...ask him for dehli to kathmandu two way tickets,,,Donot go after these travel agencies when you can do stuff on ur own and save big bucks

Chamunda Airlines is here to pick u guyz and take u to ktm in just 8 hrs non stop..Flight starting from nov 1st. The ticket rate is juat 500$ and there is no inflight entertainment nor lunch or dinners but only 2 plates of buff momo will be served with jire khursani and golbheda ko amilo aachar..Pani afai bokera aune...

I am leaving from somewhere near NY on 25th of Dec and I am returning on 19th of January. I got a deal for $1404. The flight goes from X- Dallas -Frankfurt-Oman-Kathmandu and the return flight is Ktm-Oman-London-chicago-X.

I think this is a fair deal and would advise you to contact Kali Travels. Though they are more at a personal level, they do give us a good fare. I would seriously advise you to travel on or after 25th as the fares start decreasing after that date...

PS: I already got my tickets. Hurry up because its really hard to get a seat around that period and that too at a reasonable fare.

As far as I know, if you have a valid US visa(whatever it be F1 or otherwise) with properly signed immigration document (make sure your international student official signs the last page of your I-20 form...it should be within one year range), you don't need visa to travel via london.

Correct me if I am wrong...

Plus,
make sure the airport is the same i.e. you don't intend to get out of the airport.
