Bidwaan Damodar!
Makhha parya? I was just teasing you.
Here are answers to your queries.
?Moorakh Shirish,?
?Thank you? and I hope you will enlighten me and elevate me to a different level of intelligence.
?So go ahead divide the community then. Why even have Greater Boston Nepali Community then? With your ideal this organization is definately going places. Why should we even identify ourselves as NEPALI then ? You'd rather divide the community than unite them huh ? Great thinking Shirish Babu...he he he ?
well these things are bound to happen. We are south east Asians, then Nepali and we will identify with the ethnicity. This is a natural process among all the immigrants, not a question of dividing the community. As the population increases you will see more than the existing Tamu Samaj, United Sherpa Association, Limbuwan and Newars Association. I see nothing wrong with that as it is a part of evolution, not a division, just like Indians have Tamils, Gujratis, Kannads, Biharis etc etc.
?It takes guts and brain to cook rey ? ha ha NAHASAU NA YAAR !!! Mero ghar ma pots and pans nai chaina key garney khoi baaa !!! Maybe GBNC can help me get some pots and pans.?
Thanks for your honesty. I knew, you were a peripatetic or a vagabond or a loafer or a gypsy.
How come you have not ran away this time. You are trying to improve your history? Good tactics!
?Shirish Babu could you please give me an example of a constructive question ? IF you cannot question then how do you even know if there is a problem(thought we lived in a democratic society). I have a big mouth rey ? Kyaho ! How do you know ? ?
The constructive question could be ?What measures Surya Thapa has taken to coalesce the Nepalese community more? ? or more appropriately, ?How can we help Surya Thapa to make him successful in building more appropriate and cohesive community that can interdependent with each other? ? Unfortunately, you have proven your perceived worth or class among the readers.
?How do you know Surya Thapa will not answer me ? Unless you are Surya thapa indisguised as Shirish. Or are you guys married(thanks to MA's new law passed last yr) ? ?
The history has shown and plus he sees no reason why he should answer you. There may be other reasons why he would not answer you. We need no President to answer you. He is simply busy formulating and tackling other important issues. (His press secretary can handle your queries. He he. Just Kidding.) for further info: read below.
?If BOD does not give a horse's ass about US(THE PEOPLE) then why don't we just can their ass ? What is the point of having them ? For show purposes ??
You may be right sir! But how many times do I have to tell you that they come handy at times of crisis (when the executive committee is dissolved or resigns) or at times of election. Are you a dunce? You better read the Bylaws of GBNC, then come and comment. I have a electronic copy of bylaws of GBNC, incase, if you are not capable to find one. You don?t seem to understand the working structure of GBNC.
?200 out of 3000 is damn good rey ? Man you sell yourself short. Do you even question why people are not coming to the gatherings ? Well you claim to have the mathematical skills to cook for 200 ppl. You do the math Shirish babu ? Thats 6% of the total population. Think of an election with a 6% turn out... ha ha ha How do you know if I stayed till the end & if I had to work next morning or not ? Aggain Smartalec Shirish thinks he is Bhagawan( he knows everything). ha ha ha There we go again with the name calling(cannot answer the questions resort to cheap antics). ?
There are no 3000 Nepalese in Boston?where did you get that numbers from ? On a week day to have 200 people is not bad. They are busy people, had things to do on Tuesday morning and yet attending the New Years party is amazing. I think, the basic difference between you and me is I am optimistic and see glass half full, you, in the other hand are pessimistic and see the glass half empty. 6% is a good number for that given situation and timing. If you don?t think so, then the executive committee failed.
?Its a joke the way these guys are running the show. Hareyyy Shiva !!?
Its not a joke how they are running the show. Even a poem recital got so much of appreciation in that chaotic situation. Hey bro?I simply feel the chemistry is not there.
?Yeah its ok to run any organization the way they want but not when it bears our name(greater boston NEPALI community).?
That?s what POWER is. Its an universal model. See Bush, he runs US, the way he likes. See King G at this point, he does what he likes. Surya Thapa is a public figure and he has the mandate for running GBNC, the way he likes. You could have got the position yourself but you had no freakin? guts to take the responsibility.
You sound like a democrat and they act like Republicans.
Like I said before, they are not flawless. They are humans too and will make mistakes in running an organization. Surya Thapa seems to have some leadership qualities and has qualified subordinates to some extent.
I agree with you to a point that, a true leader is always behind his people and listens to the need and thoughts of the people, not tell his people what he thinks.?
?If you were not so selfish you would have realized. Unless u want to divide every Nepali ethnic community and have the nation called Nepal dissolved. he he ?
The day will come when GBNC is no longer GBNC. GBNC will become something else. It?s just the matter of time. And when it changes, just remember me.
?Nothing has happened and nothing will happen rey? heh heh That my fren only time can tell (NOT YOU or ME).?
What change could you bring yet with your efforts ? Surya Thapa and his associates are not blind nor deaf to read, nor technologically inferior to access these posting. The simple explanation is, they just don?t feel the need to answer your queries. They are ignoring your being and why should not they ? You don?t know what it takes to organize one party and no matter, how well they are organized there will be people like you criticizing. Yak Yak ! Lets learn to appreciate the positive things that people do.
