Well, the concept of proposing someone is new to me. The word I never heard while I was in Nepal. Ahile ta jasko mukh ma ni propose re. Back in the old days, My days, We just had to "tell" her... " तिमी आउछौं कि अर्कै बिहे गरुं " ... eh!! That would do.
