Have tried , have seen and have got hit ... believe me man ....... there used to be some hardcore gang fights in school , where some students had to be in Emergency room for hours ,
Fight gangs: Pokhara and Kathmandu ( Basically known as Dhature and Dhukure)

Dont remember who was dhature adn who was dhukure? Been a while .....

Load shedding was some hard ass killing time..................!!!!!!

hyperthread, thanks for sharing your experience. I have not really got into gang fight but I do know that those who participate in gang fight are mostly coward- they turn into "tiger' only when he/she is among the group of friends.Furthermore, majority of the people who fight in gang do not really know how to fight.

I know it is very chaotic when it comes to gang fight.

As far as I am concern, when one fights he/she needs to be totally focus and not use fancy kick and punches. It is best that one conserves as much energy as possible, hence it is advisable that there is minimum high kicks and swinging pucnhes.

By the way, I am a martial art exponent who has experience in Karate ( full contact)and is currently learning kickboxing and Kali.

Regards,
Rai

I_Nepali bro .. thanx for the info.... I myself used to practice Karate and Judo in the school , so have a little knowlwedge of it, well maybe not as much as you do , but yeah the hectic movements in the fights is different from one- on -one , and there is no focus , 4 hits one or 4 gets one , cleverness and fast is the logic ( thats what I found out ..... I agree it is stupid though)

Im a Dcopsian.............and I learnt Judo and Karate.....later taekwando and whushu after I left school......If you have not studied in DPS then you do not know about gang attacks are either......So your Kata is good for few , but when a gang attacks you need a gang to fight back.....Believe me in DPS we had plenty of one on one fights but when things got far...........even the GURUS couldnt stop the Dhutureys and the Dhukureys to clash......Rods knuckles bricks etc etc were used ........Martial arts goes out the door ......Its fight or run.......oh yes in the above picture It shows the kids flexibility not how tough he is ..........get it

yes MadDoGG its like when a gang attacks you need a gang to fight back as you said.
till now i have not been in any sort of SINGLE-SINGLE or GANG FIGHT (as they used to
say in dCops). The temperment during the fight is different from the martial arts classes
or the demonstration. I also learned and practiced Judo at dCops and have experienced the amount of flexibility and confidence it provides in daily life and at extremities. Half of the frens in my class were Judokas and the rest Karate and gymnastics fellows. Really martial arts has a lot to offer.

and yes
Dont mess with D'cops Boys!!!!
