Maoists didn't accept the king's proclamation verbatim. That is the best stick for SPAs to rush that early to celebrate victory. Carrot is little far this time. At the same time, Maoists will confine themselves as mere terrorist group if they don't accept SPAs decision now. Wepons will start coming from the west soon. So, this is the the right time for reconcile. There must be check and balance. Otherwise, khuchhing for everyone. Everyone might find themselves to be a looser.

Tiger: I think the exact thing u talked about the king applies to Maoists as well....Both are failed idealogies........Maoism failed a long time ago....and the entire world is getting rid of autocratic regime..ie the King.....U should be able to address the King and the Maoists in the same sentence......No doubt, the King's hands are dirty...but Maoist's hands are bloody man,,,,,,,,,,

But, both of them rule you at the point of their gun. So, they are not totally gone because the land of the law has not been created yet. It will take a while to bid farewell to these friends. However, I have some optimism (hope, I am not wrong) that they will accept their status as what they are in near future in Nepal.

Maoists can't dance, so they swear the earth is tilted. Now, I expect street protests directed against corrupt politicians, too. It's now their turn to be forced out. Each and every single one of them. Keep it peaceful this time, though, folks.
