For last couple of weeks, BramhaIt was posting lots of job postings for BAs. Though, sajha policy doesn't allow to do advertising on Kurakani Forum, SAN neither commented on those nor did he remov the postings.

Now I can see why ..... because BramhaIt is paying for advertisement on top-right corner. Its San's site and its his policy ... it'd have been better had he said he would do whatever he wants.

Others who do advertising also help nepali people to get information and services. Some try to promote thier informative websites, other try to sell entrtainemnt. Other try to sell phone cards.... and others try to sell other used stuffs ......... If kurakani is okay for them all then there is no need of Classified?

Do you guys know that classified section exists for this purpose??

I think the more money Sajha can make, the better it is for its users if even a fraction of that is channeled back to making the site better (San dai, tabbed browsing and cleaner homepage are the top two on my wish list :P :D)

Hey listen if some graduate gets a job from that post WHY ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT IT ? Isn't that a good thing that your fresh graduate get Employment right off the back ? AND WE ALL KNOW HOW HARD IS IT TO GET JOBS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS(unless you're Ivy league grad where you get recruited even before you greduate).

But look at the time line..... Its commencement time and time for fishing recruiteees and recruiters. It is not the same when you are selling stuff= Money In YOUR BANK. Or When you are selling phone cards=Money in YOUR BANK. Selling used stuff= Money in YOUR bank.

You are getting me wrong. I never said its bad to have those postings in Kurakani .... I just tried to know why SAN is allwoing BramhaIt to use this forum and when some body else posts ad on Kurakani they are suggested not to do so.

On the mean time, my eyes caught that ad on top ... so just trying to co-relate.

Its always good if fellow nepalease get better job ..... Its always nice if we can benefit from such forum.

I appreciate you taking time to show your concern towards any sajha policy and giving me a chance to explain sajha policy towards advertising in kurakani.

If a person seems to be actively involved in self promotion of their website or business services multiple times, then, although sajha is lenient regarding this as it is in most matters, if the number of self promotions exceed a certain threshold, then action is taken to ensure that sajha visitors who come to sajha to read up on many interesting postings, stories and discussions are not bombarded with multiple instances of advertisment from same person whose agenda is only to promote their site or business services.

In case of a website promoting themselves multiple times, the site address itself gets banned in order to prevent such activity, and in case of a business, the poster gets contacted requesting to stop advertising in kurakani and to consider placing a banner ad in sajha - which would better serve their interests. Some people choose to place a banner, and some people don't but it's all in good faith.

I hope this clarifies any doubts you may be having. Thanks again for your concern, which has helped me clarify this issue to others too, who may have had similar concerns.
