I am in F1 and I am working without paper and in the mean time I have applied for H1 through a consultant that I am not sure if I get aproval or not but H1 only effective from october first. It is going to be problem if I work w/o authorization.Will they know. Please help me.

F1 ma without paper work bhaneko k ho?? did you mean without OPT?? how did you get job without OPT? if you have OPT when does that expire?

ya thats right you are not very clear. but if u mean you worked without any work permit while you were in f1 staus and now u are bothered if that is going to effect your H1. than i dont think it really will if you have maintained you status. i too worked when i was in f1 (used my ssn) but now i have h1 dint go through any problem while filing h1.

if you haven't used your ssn then don't worry.
if you have used your ssn then it might not affect while processing for h1 but might affect while filing green card.
