Pathibhara, Thanks for the Website information. I'd been to this beautiful place in 1995. I still remember that आमला को होटल in Taplejung Bazar. We had a very adventurous trip to Pathibhara Temple. I remember 'Suketar' Airport which is almost an hour walk from the main Taplejung Bazar.

I have never been to Taplejung. But my grandfather tells me that is where our ancestral home used to be. A village called "Changey". Anybody know that place?

sgy - my ancestral home too is changey, been there only twice in my life, surely want to go there again but you know the grind of work life ... unless u're my texas based relative, I'l be too happy to find another with changey ties ... let me knw who u r

Unfortunately i dont have fotos, last i been there myself in 1997, so its been quite long.
I'm in new delhi ... you should surely go there, i have fond memory of the place, esp the fortnightly market whr ppl drink jaad and bhaisi ko masu and do dhaan nach, not sure if they still do it ...

I too have been to taplejung but i was a kid then. so can't vividly remember anything except those tasty potatoes and some liquor named tumba. Taplejung is beautiful place......would love to visit der again...someday....God Willing.
