Dude, bhangra is big time in UK. Just check out some bhangra remixes (my fav some good time ago used to be Talvin Singh). And Bollywood and Curry are as familiar as McDonald's is in USA

Absolutely Axara, Punjabi songs and remixes are way ahead in UK. Many Punjabi Songs and remixes  from Jay Sean and Juggy Dee has already hit the UK top charts.
