Hello everyone.

My H1b is pending since they are requesting detailed job description. Obviously, the one my company provided was not good enough. They don't have any better idea on how to provide detailed job description since they have never done this before. I was just wondering if someone could provide me with the sample job description needed for H1b filing. I would really appreciate the sample from the recent H1B approved. I'd be really thankful.

your lawyer should have idea about this.  in my case lawyer prepared all the documents.  job description means what kind of job you will be involved in.  good luck.

what is your area of work? like engg, managment, IT whatever it is..job description should out line your specifict task related to your degree or area of concentration. Talk to your officeboss and out line the list of responsibilites and give those to your lawer they will narrate it.

"Job Description: Provide a more detailed description of the work to be performed by the beneficiary for the entire requested period of validity. Include specific job duties, the percentage of time to be spent on each duty, level of responsibility, hours per week of work, and the minimum education, training, and experience necessary to do the job. Also, explain why the work to be performed requires the services of a person who has a college degree or its equivalent in the occupational field."

This is what the letter says.

Well, I guess my lawyer did not really narrate it properly while submitting my H1B, thus, they are requesting it. I already submitted the job description while submitting H1.
