I have my student visa expired. So if i get h1, can i visit nepal? or i will have to wait till GC?

If you are a masters student, It takes mimum 1-yr to get H1B and then minimum 1-yr to get GC if you file under EB1 or EB2 otherwise 4-5 years.

Worst case, you may never be able to get through H1B lottery and may this never happen to you.

If you are a Bachelor's student, then this will be a looooooooooooong way. Good luck

thx for the info guys, reason i am asking is my internship looks like will offer me h1 after i move to fultime after i graduate. Also my visa has expired and I want to go to nepal but then i would have to reapply for visa to return. So, if i get h1, i assume I still have to reapply right? Not so for GC.
