oh yes no quiero.....
I had forgotten about Andy.yes of course he is one of the best wicketkeeper batsmen ever...Had he  been in some top team instead of  Zimbabwe, he would be highly regarded than what he is now.

this is a topic I hate to talk about. A wicketkeeper is a wicketkeeper first, and before the arrival of Gilchrist, who himself was a reasonable wicketkeeper and a destructive batsman, this was a specialist job. Ever since teams have started looking for wicketkeeepers who can also bat, the standard of keeping has gone down. Gone are the days of Ian Healey and Jack Russell. Two of the best I have seen. I  have heard Wasim Bari, Syed kirmani were really good too.

Wicketkeeper batsman ?I wouldn't touch this topic even with a 20 ft pole.

In the recent times I was very impressed by Khaled Masud of Bangladesh. Again I don't care how good batsman he was.  As long as you satisfy and gain confidence of someone like Shane Warne and Murali, the last thing a keeper should do is worry about being a Gilchrist.

Also, Andy Flower was superb.

Top 3 whom I have seen;

Test matches;

1. Adam Gilchrist

2. Kumar Sangakara

3. Andy Flower

ODI

1. Kumar Sangakara

2. Adam Gilchrist

3. MS Dhoni

Rahul Dravid can be a contender as a batsman-wicket keeper but he never kept in Test matches and I never considered him as a ODI player. Keeping or not.
