USA ma F1 status le  off campus job ko lagi ke  chha law?(legal vayar  kam garna )

 deri university  haru le 2 semester later certain  hour kam garn internationl office ma paper vanaya pachi dinchha vane suneko chu .  ke  you kura ture ho !!!!!!

Legally, U can't work off campus..U can work on CPT(Curricluar Practical training) off campus if u have a Job offer Letter within ur field of Study..CPT is normally given after fulfulling 2 full sem hours on the college(it also varies by the Univ)..In case of severe economic hardship u can also work for 20 hrs with permission from DSO(Normally DSO (Designated Schhol official) doesn't encourage u to do such coz u r supposed to show prof to fund ur studies in US when u appeared for VISA interview in US)..In this Economic Climate it's hell tough to get a Job within ur field of Study..So chances are Extremely slim....

I urge you to actually have some knowledge before trying to share 'em. Your post showed your ignorance on this regard and I'd apologetically like to correct you.

Kathmandubata, You can apply for an EAD card ( google it ) based on Economic hardship. You'll need to pay an application fee ( $340 or $360 ) and need to have a decent reason to apply for a work permit under economic hardship. Mind you, you can't apply for it until you've been in the states for over 9 months. If you were to get approved, you can "legally" work outside your campus for up to 20 hours but let me tell you something. A lot of my friends and I've worked around 40 hours during school year using the card. Also, the card is only valid for a year. You'll need to pay the same sum if you were to reapply.

Again, you need to have a severe economic problem to apply for a card. Just make something up and you should be fine. Good luck.

You have the least probability of getting EAD under economic hardship.

 actually 2 semester pachi 3rd semester off gare ra off campus job khojana lageko ho, but illegal huncha vanre fear vayko chha.
 ON campus job garda 40 hour per week  huncha tution nahi pugdahina.

If you are grad student you need to complete 18 minimum credits for CPT and you need to join CPT class of 1 credit. First check if your department has that provision. Some departments don't have that provisions.

And you need an offer letter of job from the respective company that you will work(of your study field) before applying CPT

i agree with white lily, you do need a letter from the respective company that will provide you work and has to be in you field of study. instead of that why dont you do as we all do over here work off campus without letting your school know.
Dont worry right now kathmandu, you will get the need of working off campus and get the hang of it quickly coz thats the only way an F1 student can pay for school and other shyt. and its not dat bad. it just reality.
And schools wont let full time students to work 40 hours during the semester, they best they can do is 20 hours.
You might wanna finish your associates degree you dat you can apply for OPT which allows you to work off campus for a year.
