 instate tuition in texas

hi everyone
i am studying at community college in texas. looking to transfer to university. i heard hat you can get instate tuition if u have associate degree and 3.25 gpa. i emailed UT dallas and they gave me a link to check residency.it didnt said anything about associate degree, gpa
have u gotten instate tuition by this process or another.
please share your experience

I think you get instate if you are offered any assistanceship position like TA/RA/GA or if
you are granted some scholarship. Itdepends on university as well.Some university waives your full tuition fee if u get assistanceship. I'm not quite sure about getting good gpa in associate degree. Prolly some sajhaites will help u in this case.

billo,
check for something called "transfer scholarship" in UT website.  I think UT system grants transfer scholarships to students transferring from community colleges in Texas which knocks down your tuition to in state rate. UTA gives it but am not sure about UTD.

i looked at UT  transfer scholarship, its only for austin which is hard just to get in.i was looking for UTD or may be UTA

there is a nepalese student association in UTA, try to contact them, they might give you good advice

have you tried looking into UNT, i have heard their scholarship is better than UTA or UTD

may be try calling the scholarship or admissions department
