If Indian Govt. is printing the passport for Nepali citizens.. there is a possibility in a decade or so.. that an Indian citizen will ultimately get Nepali passport (citizenship) and India can use those people to enter into Nepali politics to fulfill Indian dreams much more than we're experiencing right now!! This needs to end ASAP.. or we'll be lose our identity!

@hit.the.hot

what makes you think those people can't get a passport if they want in some part of Nepal itself. Wake up man, which world are you living in..And in anyways, Nepal will get back the MPR passports and India are not the one to issue it so I don't see how they can abuse it! I don't understand why guys like you are so quick to jump on any issues relating to India ...Don't you think there are enough things within Nepal to blame...and on top u found sajha to be the place to vent your anger..if you really care, why don't you go do something about it.

First of all, Girija ko aashirbad le baneko P.M. (Madhav Nepal) matra hoina, jo Nepali P.M. bhaye pani yo contract India le nai pauthyo. kinaki yesta kura ko decision Singhdurbar ma hoina, Delhi ma hune gareka chhan. Tei bhayera ta, aru 3 wata European countries ko tender cancel garera India ko ek shabda ko aadhar ma yo contract Indian company le payo. and, i think Indian govt. also wanted that to happen.

hit.the.hot le bhane jastai huna lai ho yo.. ahile pani Indian haru le Nepali citizenship liyeka chhan Nepal ko, tara passport nai India ma print bhayo bhane; kehi dukha nai garnu pardaina dhoti haru le. and @mankokura - i think sajha is the best place to discuss about these things.

@mankokura
"what makes you think those people can't get a passport if they want in some part of Nepal itself"
That is true! The people (indigenous ones) living in Nepal since their forefathers time haven't been able to get Nepali citizenship yet, and those Biharis who still live in Indian side of the border were distributed Nepali citizenship by the Govt. of Nepal, and it's not 10 or 20.. it's in hundreds and thousands in over 2 million Nepali citizenships that were distributed last year!
and wtf r u talkin about?? ...reading from ur perspective at ur comments, i think i live in a better world than u r, whr i'm free to think and whr the sites like Sajha are "the best place to discuss about these things" as said by snoopk
also, i think u don't even know wut MRP stands for, so u wouldn't say it as MPR! So, first know that it's an acronym for Machine Readable Passport.
"why guys like you are so quick to jump on any issues relating to India" If u like to read history... and ever analyzed Nepali history and Politics, Indian Govt. has always interfered into Nepali politics, and this is all because we, Nepalese have been so carefree about our internal matters, and have been taking it so lightly to these sensitive things.
"Don't you think there are enough things within Nepal to blame" I agree with u at this point. Our leaders have all cheated us time and again and again. I can't blame them even. I blame the system that we have been practicing, and we are yet to have a role-model in our politics as like Jews are waiting for their Savior.
Yes, Sajha is the place to vent my anger, frustrations, dissatisfactions, demands, and many things, so that all the Nepalese viewer of the threads that r posted here, who r a loyal and faithful citizens could hear wut I mean in real.
I really care about the situation, and I'm not exaggerating anything at all, that's why I'm doing as per my capabilities... making my fellow citizens aware of the fact I see from my perspective for the future of my country... my words are all I have! dude, no offense, but I couldn't stop my writings. I apologize if u think this is a mere exaggeration! Amen.

@hit.the.hot: Well said "this a a forum for discussion , so any ideas,frustration and views should be welcome", but we should not promote hatred,stereotyping and illogical views.

As far as India interfering with Our Internal Politics well thats how it has always been, from the time They supported us to topple the Ranas to Present , Every Country looks for its better interest and for India that is to have a favourable Govt in  Nepal, So we can't blame them from trying to have it as it's in their best interest, Now to Comply and listen to everyting from Our Side thats a different Case , Our Politicians( I would not call then Leaders,as Leaders Lead not follow Directions from others) should Listen to them( India,USA,China,UK) as we need their support ,frankly speaking we can't survive without their aid ,But they should do things in our best interest.

As far as Giving this passport Priniting Job to India or any other country, It should not matter who gets it as long as its the best offer they get and is done according to proper channels. Common now do you really think that printing passports in India would make it easier form them to Infiltrate Nepalese Political Channels by posing them selves as Nepalese ..Haha they already do that , don't they need to establish their residency in Nepal to get into politics all this nonsense they it would be easir to Indians to get it is Bullshit,It wouldn't make a difference to them ...They already do it and they will do it , there is nothing anyone can do about it .

"As far as India interfering with Our Internal Politics well that's how it has always been" no one will deny on this statements. But the magnitude of our political dependency has been elevated certain percentage to 100 percent these days.

Why this 100 percent dependency? You know the answer? Greed and hungry for power,  for personal reason but not for national reason.

I think it should go through the tender and if indian company wins then its ok to go through but one person decision is not democratic. Its koirala attitude !!! either her father or she !!! Koirala is always 100% right otherwise they will threaten to quit the govt or dissolve the govt. do u think people who follow koirala clan are stupid, super stupid or supreme stupid !!!

@ Sambhu: ur analysis is true! well, I'm not trying to say that Indian Govt. should not be allowed to print Nepali passport at all; I think there is no point of saying that. Let them do it, IFF (if and only if) they give a competitive price as other bidders, and win the tender as said by PeaceSoul. I'm just against this Koirala-cracy in Nepali politics, earlier father and now the daughter! I totally agree with wut Syanjali said about the dependency of our immature leaders upon Indian politicians.
I think we can't be just quiet now about the increasing interference from Indian side, but also we can't do anything as we fully depend from India. If India closes its market to Nepal, I know people will be out of food and utilities. From time and again, Indian Govt. has been a great help in assisting our Govt. at every difficult time. We appreciate that! But shouldn't Indian Govt. respect Nepali independence rather than directly interfering!! This is all diplomacy! I'm not a diplomat, but I can see and analyze the things that r not going right..
I prefer that it is in the best of both countries to seal the Indo-Nepal borders, start Visa system  and make a 'No man's land in between two countries border. If we do this we can manage thousands of Maoist army as a Border Patrol from our side. This will end the border encroachment problems for ever, and will manage the army integration problem of two armies. This can even benefit our taxation system to make it strict and transparent along the existing porous border as of now. This will improve the rate of trade loss for our country. Above all, this will boost up the security for both countries.
Good thoughts guys! Keep writing...
Jai Nepal
