Overview

Every year thousands of International students from all over the world travel abroad, seeking opportunities and a better future. A lot of us have left everything behind us, and when we find ourselves in times of trouble, we have no one to look upon for help, except for our friends. We struggle, we suffer and we HOPE for HELP.

In the United States alone, there are many incidents involving the international students, such as incidents involving firearms, incidents involving automobile accidents, and other incidents involving health issues. Among those, many of them become helpless due to expensive medical treatments and procedures. The saddest part is when students are in critical condition due to injuries, and they lose their lives.

Thus, a concept has been thought upon and an organization has been initiated to help our international friends and family in times of trouble:

"International Students HOPE Foundation"
A HOPE for HELP

This organization was initiated by the Nepalese students, out here in USA, in response to the several medical emergencies and the high cost of healthcare associated with it. Apart from that, ISHF is dedicated to developing education and health care in different rural regions of the world. It's first project was to provide stationery materials and basic educational needs to the kids of Crystal Mountain School in Dolpa. A recent fundraiser will help provide a specific list of items to all the children enrolled in that particular school. The funds have been sent, and our helpers back home after converting the cash into stationery goods. The delivery will be made somewhere around September when the young doctors from the Appeal4Dolpa project leave for their health camp operation.

International Student HOPE Foundation has other student bodies & board of Directors from different parts of the world, and are committed to uniting the Internationals in times of medical emergencies. Please take a minute of your time to vote for this cause. Help spread the cause.
