Does anyone have know about univesity offering good scholarship, for Masters program if so what are the criteria to get it?

It depends on university and the subject you are going to study. Pure science or technology provide more help than other subjects.

nepalibabu, most of the universities in the US provide scholarship. there are even more universities that offer scholarship, assistantship programs specially for masters degrees.

your question is really vague to answer in a single paragraph. but to cut it short,

the scholarship depends on major that you are going with, depending on the major they have different criterias, depending on your scores/ eligibility on what they are looking for on that particular criteria for that particular scholarship/ assistantship, they will decide how much/ what part/ what type of assistantship that you will be offered out of that particular scholarship program within that particular criteria.  :)

to make it simple, you need to tell people what are you?  what is the major are you choosing?  kind of explanation! hows your educational background  etc...   dont you think so?

give GRE/GMAT  TOEFL score good u will fnd lot
try writing email to the university if you have selected any
it depends on university so u will get right answer there.

Not all people will log in Sajha for time pass or just to create a blog and see how many have commented or how many people looked or open it.

nepalibabu, put your question complete. There are scholarships, but you might need to score good in GRE...

Criteria to get Scholarship/Assistantship is simple:

(1) Good GPA, above 3.5
(2) Good GRE Scores
(3) Good Reference Letters
(4) What subject you're planning to study (subjects such as Natural Science: Bio, Chemistry, Soil Science provide more Scholarships/Assistantships)

Lastly, you've to be Smart/Intelligent.

Also, Email professors and ask them if they can provide you Scholarship/Assistantship. It helps.
