My mum going back Nepal. She is above 55. I am thinking not to pay her credit card bills which is something more than 1000 dollars. Will it be problem for me because she used my address ? Will it be problem if she wants to come back after few years?

Because you are living here, mom is likely to come back and stay with you sometime later. I don't think having the same address hurts you but I think you should pay it. Had it been $10,000 my answer might have been different though! (I'm a poor student working for dhoti-gas)

They'll give hard time trust me man. The collectors were calling me almost 20 times a day just because this guy had the same address ( actually my former roomate) & they couldn't reach him because he's outta country. I had to explain each of them & even prove that I wasn't the right person! WTF?? the calls apparently didn't stopped so threatened them with a lawsuit for harrrasement. Then finally it stopped!

But I suggest you to pay.

 Did you co-sign? If yes the answe is clear. If your mom is not coming back dont bother, if someone calls you, ask ther name and id and tell them polietly not to call anymore. In MA consumers are protected againtst these calls. Once you tell them not to call you they cant call you legally.

And, what happens if they find out: 
- I've seen many americans not paying their CC bill and what happens is they live in subnormal life style
  1. they can't apply for loan anywhere
  2. they can't get another CC
  3. they can't have bank account
  4. their life will thereafter run only on cash
  5. they can't buy new car, they can't easily get rental
  6. their social security is blacklisted forever and then can't never retain it back for any financial ventures
That means they are screwed up for their whole life. 
And, if they find out it's about you, you'll be screwed even more. You don't wanna risk anything, do you?

 $1000 bucks ko lagi, the last thing you'd want is collection agencies making you harassing phone calls every day. Further, when they dig deeper, they're gonna find out more and this might ultimately lead you onto more trouble. 

It's not worth it. Pay it man. Like someone already said, ama lai afno kukarma ko bhagidar nabanau.
