IT is not the question "WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT KING G'S MOVE ON FEB 1,2005?" before any Nepalese if we consider the bonafied citizens of Nepal but not the tyranies' slave 'Parja". This is a very serious moral obligation of Nepalis who live abroad to protect the fundamental rights of Nepalis which is going to be undermind for next 3 years at list if not as long as the new Shah dynasty rule Nepal after the dramatic killings of our democratic king Birendra. If you are morally responsible at list oppose this move of the new Shah king who wishes to be the most tyrant of the kings of king of Nepal. Come on do not be frightened like your submissive mom and pops in Nepal... at list vote to oppose the move on Sajha.com polling.

If you think more than this read the reactions of the nations like USA, UK & India or the demand of UN representative to restore the democracy immidiately. Here are the links: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4227517.stm

It is shame on us to be abroad without considering how you got this opportunity to be here .... I believe not because of the new Shah king - the intended tyrant but because of Democracy that gage us windows of opportunities to explore the world. It is disgraceful to remain ourselves Gorkhali the tyrant and Gorkhali the slave in abroad.

The question is "What can you do to protect the fundamental rights of people of Nepal and defend human rights from the Gorkhali tyrant the new Shah king who grabbed the power from our Democratic king Birendra?"

We have seen enough of democracy last 13 years!!! So you are saying that democracy was the one who let people be outside of their country seeking opportunities, HELL NO...what a shame..so you are saying people from China never saw USA because they never had democracy...you are not giving a valid argument here brother..go back and clear your facts first..
Democracy without discipline is mad bull without a sackle, and we all know this!!

Revival!

1.Yes many political leaders were corrupt, they should be prosecuted.
2.Yes the Maoists have been atrocious, they should be crushed.
3.Yes there had been a political vacuum, it should be filled and given momentum.
I do agree with people who hate the politicians and institutions that could not perform well in the last 16 years. They have a big part (the biggest for sure) for bringing in the situation of today which gave the King very little alternative to choose for other things then what he did today.
BUT
What gives you the hope or belief that this King is going to make things better for our country??
1.He is the King who took the throne amidst a big suspicion of conspiracy. He never gave chance to a fair enquiry of the massacre.
2. He is the King, father of Paras , whom he could not stop repeating all those bullish acts even after declared a Crown Prince and a father of 3 children. If Gyanendra could not handle Paras well, How can he handle the chaotic situation of the country?
3. He is the KIng who appointed infamous Panchas Surya Bahadur and Lokendra Bahadur twice in the last 3 years as primeminister. If those Panchas are his close aides and advisor what better can he do now with the same group of peoples now?
4. He is the King who spent millions of rupees for felicitating himself all over the country. He is the one who has forced a 20 fold increase of Royal expenditure in the last 4 years. Do you think he has good intention of solving problems and helping poor Nepali People?
5. People who believe in multi party democracy are still a considerable force to reckon with in Nepal. WHy couldn't he select non corrupted pro democratic people for running the previous 4 appointed governments ?
6. He has cut off communication and censored media. If he thinks he has the support of the people why is he afraid of allowing freedom of information and speech in the country now?Why does he createddarkness in the country?

All his actions of the past shows that he has no ability, no desire, no visison to give the nation a fresh hope. He simply can't rectify the problems of the country with this move. Instead he should have tried to force a consessus between non maoists, why couldn't he do that? Because he has been ill advised by some file and ranks of the palace aides who think that they should only benefit from the country and the majority of people must obey on their orders. They don't like the children of general public getting educated and develope to capable individuals.

Anybody who is pleased with the King's move is either a direct beneficiary of the palace or a hopeful of making advantage of this. Any one with a democratic, progressive, tolerant, moderate principal cannot approve the kings move at any cost. Its really sickening to read words of explicit support to the King from people living in democratic plularalistic western society. This shows how self centric, selfish we Nepalis are.

Friends, you will know after few months that today's King's action is a very insensible move. This has led the future of Monarchy in real trouble. In democracy, people like Girija come and go and better people will replace them. But once Monarchy is gone it won't come back again.

REVIVAL: You can not compare China with the tyrant Shahas and Ranas who ruled Nepal with frightening gods and goddess in the name of Hindu religions. They have done everyway as they could to supress the people of Nepal. I would agree with you if they have given us opportunities for education and industrailizations; lets say not even during Rana regime but during Panchayat we could have been in different positions -may be like China. You can see this difference if come to work abroad like in New York city, London or any other industralized modern cities that from same South Asia - the Indiean, Bangladeshi or Pakistani workers are more efficient than us. We Nepali even do not have experience to keep inventory. What makes Nepalese poor hunman resourse in workforce - lack of educations, industrial experience and work ethics.

You are here because of the dawn of Demorcacy in Nepal and I am sure you came here if you are in abroad not during Panchayat time but after Democracy... It is disgraceful of you to support tyrant to undeciplined democratic party workers or leader. Democracy is a process of mistakes and learning from mistakes as chains of evolutions that country and people have to bear for certain period of time.... only the time is longer if the lieaders and the king like ours - undeciplined and tyrant - Gorkhali ... mindless... cunning, greedy and selfish.... possessed with obvious animals insticts. Difference is only that the undeciplined can be punished by law under the democratic rule of law but tyrant will kill many innocent people, undermine human rights, suspend fundamental rights under the rule of bully.

This king shows he is impatient, ambisious, tyrant, pure Gorkhali....as his forefathers but not like our king Birendra and Tribhuvan. Birendra and Tribhuvan are our beloved importal kings. This is 21st cintury and if you want to rule Nepal with this king under tyranny and bully you go head. This is gonna be war of DARK FORCE AND REPUBLICANS LIKE IN THE STAR WAR.

Orientalgal: LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY, HUMAN RIGHTS AND FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF NEAPLI PEOPLE AND LONG LIVE NEPAL. IT IS EASY TO SUPPORT DARK FORCE! IT is very short sight ... in liong run dark force loses in this 21st century if human beings are prone to evolustion meaning to self-educate and progress.

Oh. You are bitching as if Democracy brought us all in the foreign land. Democracy sent us because we had no choice. All our villages were over ran by Mao. Who created the Mao--the as-hole netas. I did not benefit anything in the last 14 yrs. Actually I lost very little self respect and peace I had back home.

Now I dont need to hear another stupid chamche or mandale barking like a vushya kukur again in the name of democracy. I am tired of all this.

Jai Desh, jai Naresh
