Lazimpat/SRB, Boston to New York to Bangkok to home sweet home on Thai, purchased through Thai, was going at $1430.65 a month ago. This included taxes as well as the $10 surcharge for them to FedEx the tickets to you. Remember, you will be flying directly from NY to BKK. The only bitch is that it takes forever to get through to the Thai agents, so be patient and prepare yourself for the soul-numbing muzak.

lazimpat bro, If you're flying from east coast, a good one would be Austrian Air. Took it last summer to Nepal. Service was good too, but not as good as Cathay ot Thai or Singapore. Real easy. NY to Vienna to Ktm. Might wanna check it out. Peace.
